As a Brazilian this translator is the best that has ever worked for the UFC. He says everything in the same way the fighter does with the right approach and emotion. Also is translating the question to Charles on the same tone, not shortening it or making them harsher than it was actually asked. Perfect.

Champion in their own right is not a valid use of the idiom. "in their own right" suggests through ones own skills and qualifications a person is (fill in the blank). *Anyone who thought Dustin had a comfortable win, knows nothing about MMA! Stylistically, this was Oliveira’s fight to lose.* Dustin does not have the style to beat Oliveira, on the ground or on the feet. Poirier’s forward movement is very poor, unlike Chandler who can explode forward and get on the inside. Dustin needed to make this a Thai-style fight, chip the legs, and then explode forward with his left hand, step forward switch-stance, and overhand right combo. Oliveira never takes his head off the centre line, and he could have comfortably chipped away at Dustin’s legs, and taken less damage, but he chose to go for the knees and clinch. Dustin did the right thing, in staying on his back in round 2. If he tried to escape, he would have presented his neck, and would have been submitted in round 2.

gonna respect this guy and learn his attitude, ignore the noise of outside, just grab every opportunity and doing what he going to do . the confident level is just impressive. he has the heart of champion. remember that ? when he is ranked out of top 5, tony ferguson would like to have a last minutes fight, no one accept this sudden invitation but olivera took the shot and dominate. he didn't miss out any chance to become a champion. salute. a real champion

Hopefully he learns English soon now that he’s champ. It’s hard to promote a guy no one wants to wait for a question, then the question to be translated to Charlie, then Charlie answering the question and then the translator translating to the journalists. He’s an awesome fighter, just hard to promote and make a star.

Charles came out in those 2nd and 3rd rounds looking to get the job done. He was determined. Dustin needed to keep it in the center to slow Charles down in that 3rd round and try to draw him into more standup. His coaches probably should have been expecting a defensive round there knowing Charles and how he came out in the 2nd looking to make it dirty and grapple. It was a great fight though. Hats off to both warriors.

Definitely an event that I didn’t regret purchasing! Wow! Happy for Oliveira he was incredible. So happy for Peña that was unbelievable! Impressive and needed. Feel bad for Garbrandt but congrats to the badass he fought. Cody just didn’t look like he was the Cody of old. O’Malley was decisive against a dangerous guy!! Wow. I feel bad because I know his name just can’t think of it but I’m glad the black man won (American) good for him he’s been thru a lot

You just can’t help but to like this man. He’s a true warrior and I can’t find something I don’t like about him. He’s a monster in the cage and as humble as they come outside the cage. He helps his community like crazy and he stays true to who he is. Being champ didn’t change him at all. Love this man. I’m rooting for him not only in his fights but in life. Wish him nothing but the best.
