@@wutang5503 yeah he did and then they had a much closer fight, I think the first fight speaks to volkanovski's ability and preparation much more than Holloway being washed. Ortega got bashed around by both of them but he's certainly not a washed fighter.

@@italianstalian331 obviously Round 3 of Volk vs. Ortega is the best ever. But over all 5 rounds, Yan vs. Sandhagen is better because it's more competitive and is high-skilled technical fight. Ortega got beat up

This one was best last year. That was one of the best ever. I also liked chandler vs gaethje even If 3rd round were boring. Seeing yan vs sandhagen was great too but pretty one sided. Sandhagen really never were close to get yan while yan showed why he is the best striker in ufc probably. Atleast top 3. Last year ufc were great

When KZ fought Poirier he beat him everywhere. He was better at punching, kicking, takedowns, grappling and submissions. Shame he couldn't fight FW Conor, he would've put up a better fight than most FWs. Hopefully he'll get the win vs Volk even if it's unlikely.

I very much admire Volk, he has proved why he’s the champ time and time again and tbh I don’t see anyone beating him anytime soon. But I’ve been a TKZ fan for the longest time and never have I been in this situation where I want to see someone win but not the other person lose, you know? Looking forward to this fight 👏

Alexander Volkanovsky is one of the most unique talents and forces to come to UFC and Korean Zombie had made history unlike many others will ever be able to do. Love Alex I'll root for him over almost anyone but Korean Zombie deserves any win he gets

Volkanovsky is truly a jack of all trades. He isn't known for any specialization (like the Zombie or Ortega or Charles or Dustin or Khabib or Islam), but because he is so well rounded with truly a next level kind of physique, whatever tiny deficiencies he has in any one skill (submission for Ortega & Charles, for example), more often than not, he's able to out-strength his competitors. The two sub attempts, the first by arm and the second by legs that Ortega had around his neck, ANY OTHER fighter would have gone unconscious, it didn't matter whether they're elite wrestlers, strikers, or BJJ artists themselves. But due to Volkanovsky physical specimen, he's able to tire out Ortega's arm in the guillotine and slipped from under Ortega's scissoring leg triagle.

Except for the two submission attempts which lasted maybe 20 seconds Ortega did F all for 5 rounds. Volk dominated and destroyed him and took his soul.

what a Masterpiece Trailer, Vok's part the most "I thought it was over TWICE!" 😂 "the Champ is a savage". that Volk vs Ortega Fight was one of the best advertise for MMA/the UFC, I got a Heartattack after he survived Ortega's Guillotine, his Head turned in a shade of purple🙈.

I respect Volk a lot, because he shows respect for Zombie, and I suppose there's a part of me that wants to see the underdog get the win, but having said that, I still think that Volk deserves it more, because he is the better fighter and I think he will prove it again.
