i was supporting Max but this man left me speechless, dominated max at all aspects of the fights, a clean sweep 50-45 and obviously 3-0.

This dude is on a different level, and the shocking thing is, that he is getting better and better. He's not scared of getting hit and taking chances. Gotta Love his approach to fighting.

The 1st fight was a pretty clear win, 2nd was a lot closer, but this fight was absolutely 1 sided and dominant, I never would have expected Max to get pieced up that well

Max said he's the heat heading into this third and final fight, but funny how the champ Volk proved to be the heat or fire extinguisher, three-peat indeed, what a great way for Volk to end this trilogy fight with Max, soundly beating Max for almost every second of the fight. Love to see the champ Volk chase double champ status since he's now cleared out his division.

I have always been impressed with Volk’s ability to compete. Does anyone else see and appreciate how consistent he is with return fire every time he gets touched by opponent? I’m blown away by it every time. He refuses to lose any exchange and if he does, he acknowledges, and steps right back in, ready to win the next one. I don’t know any fighters like him in that regard..plus, you have to love the dude..he is real, and he is confident

This was one of the most, maybe THE most, impressive performance I've seen in MMA. Obviously I wouldn't say of all time; there are too many options and recency bias is always a factor. However, I think it was the most amazed I've ever been by any MMA fight, at least in terms of performances I have streamed live (something I only started doing at the start of the pandemic) or maybe even in terms of performances since I became more than a fairweather fan (2015/2016ish). I mean, to do that to a guy like MAX...my jaw dropped an inch more with each round. I was really unsure of how this would go. I saw both previous fights live and it was so razor close both times that a 5 round domination was the last thing I'd expect. I'm sure the recency of this fight has some impact on my perception but I'm usually very conscious of those sorts of bias and rarely ever feel differently about a performance after time passes. Just based on the skill displayed, the manner of victory and the opponent the victory was over...I really don't think I've seen many more amazing wins. I'd have put Max beating Kattar near/at the top of that list before tonight. Of course it still is on the list but given this is a win over the victor in that match, this may be crazier.

Volk is an absolute athletic beast- focused, smart, explosive….short but a reach that is from a much taller man typically…..that’s helpful….Loved Volk from jump, but to see him improve every time out is really impressive
