The people that want to see izzy get into a dangerous dog fight, just cause he comes out as the undertaker, are drunk assholes. Is it really more impressive to see fighters take years from their life and career, than to see them prove the effectiveness of their artform by facing the most fierce men on earth, and walking away without a lot of damage when the average person would be carried off in a stretcher. Plus, the dancing, the costumes, the theatrics - it's art. Just art folks. If you can't manage your expectations from it, then you should probably evaluate how well your parents raised you. Aside from that, these challengers need to bring it to the champ. When they don't, you get boring fights like romero vs izzy or rose vs esparza. Think about it...if you can put the booze down long enough to think.

I think Alex should have climbed his way up the ladder to this fight but..I'm going with Izzy. Both times they fought when Izzy was busy he was winning. Not the same Izzy he fought in kickboxing. Michael and Dustin like them both tough call be happy either way.

Beneil is one of my fav, because he’s just that guy, but he doesn’t have signature wins, and I don’t say he needs one for the shot, I say he needs some for his legacy. I’d like to see Beneil get the winner of Chandler/Poirier or Charles, he needs those wins on his record for him. His best is the Tony win but then everyone else beat Tony, give Beneil a signature fight. Not Justin because Justin doesn’t deserve Beneil unless he gets another top 10 win. Get Beneil some resume highlights.

I think Izzy may even tko pereira here. He was landing a lot of shots in those two fights and pereira took a standing count in the second fight. Izzy has a lot more experience in an octagon and it’ll be harder to cut him off. I think it will be a hell of a lot of accumulative damage to pereira in a five round fight. Obviously pereira is a very dangerous fighter with a lot of power so anything can happen. More likely UD for Izzy but at 4-1 I’m taking Izzy tko.
