@ALIEN GOD Not sure about that, Gaethje's chin isn't the same, Oliveira literally rocked him with the very first punch he threw and after that he ended the fight with a knockdown followed by the sub. I think the Chandler fight hurt Justin's chin permanently.

Probably going to be the same kind of fight, Kamaru will probably control most of it but Leon going to open up a bit more as to being more confident then last time but now Kamaru knows Leon can end his night in a second, but Kamaru may try to pour it on early to mitigate that fact, can't effin wait, Let's goo.

Man I am so stoked for Justin vs. Rafael. I'm curious to see them side by side. I think Fiziev has the best striking possibly in the entire roster but I think Justin may have a more well-rounded game because of his wrestling acumen. It's going to be fucking insane

Although I feel that devastating high kick has changed Usman’s career in particular his mentality in the octagon, his brace up for the trilogy less than a few months is absolutely thrilling, a fearless warrior!

My main take away from the Edwards vs Usman fight was that Leon is gonna need more than a well timed kick to win against Usman. To be fair to Edwards, he did take Usman down and won a round. Outside of that he was losing. Hopefully this fight settles who’s actually better.

@JordanKnowsWell usman was dominating the fight up until that head kick, whereas in the adesanya fight he was slightly ahead before being knocked out. Also one was a lucky head kick and the other was a knockout after being blitzed which is something Pereria does in pratically every fight. Imo u can't compare the two

I honestly think this will be the scariest and most dangerous Usman we ever witness. He was the best Pound for Pound and well deserved but he had gotten waaaaayyyy too cocky and was too comfortable in that last fight. Good luck to both fighters!

@lola bakare The increased altitude played into Usmans favour last fight. Leon looked flat in that fight, expect him to put on a way better showing this weekend. He knows he can hurt Usman now, I’m expecting a lot of body kicks and punching combinations from him this fight.

Leon sets traps, and for that to happen he needs time to build them in the octagon.The problem is, Usman won't give him that time, and if Leon pushes forward too hard he risks an Usman slip and easy takedown, if he backs up too much he risks being held against the cage, and a gruelling unnecessary round of TD defence. I hope Leon's team have some more tricks up their sleeve from watching footage and training in baiting and setting a trap for Usman as early as possible. For me personally, i think the lack of uppercuts used against dominant wrestlers astounds me. Leon also gotta be super accurate to keep it standing, or be constantly moving and baiting. Who knows, maybe he'll surprise us all and submit Usman in the first round after being taken down.

If Edwards beats Usman again that solidifies his status. He's the champ for sure but to take two fights off of Usman is insane. That being said I expect Kamaru to leave everything in the cage. Fiziev is a man built for war too, Justin and him will put on another spectacle.

I think it's misguided by Leons team to assume Usman is going to be "cagey" after the KO. You go into the fight with more confidence as the Champ but don't downplay the opponent like he's not the same guy. He's going to come back better, this isn't some unranked nobody.

I’d love to see the studies on what cryotherapy does for edwards recovery. All of the recent data I have seen myself says cold exposure does not support recovery. Reduces inflammation but that’s about it. I do it daily but more for the mental benefits as opposed to physical

If Justin fights the way he usually fights, then it's going to be a long night for him as Fiziev is good everywhere and unlike Chandler, he will not make it a dog fight but keep it technical. May the best man win.

@Brian Noble Stfu, dude. "He stopped moving" lol. Which one is it though? Some Usman fanboys say that he got caught with the headkick because he was aggressive when he should have been coasting, other fanboys say that he got KOd because he was coasting when he should have kept his foot on the pedal.

@don eladio My bad, perhaps I misinterpreted what you said lol. I agree with that - so many people are acting like Leon (who I also like btw but prefer Usman) dominated that fight instead of the other way around until the end. The only reason Leon had a chance for that head kick was because Usman gave him the opening by just stop moving for some inexplicable reason...just coasting to run the clock out I guess. In real time before the kick landed, I was asking out loud why he stopped moving...which I've never seen him do before!

@Brian Noble 😂 usman is probably my favourite fighter, relax. i agree with you. Im only talking about the hype aspect, i saw it firsthand how a great deal of mma fans turned their backs on him after the loss, casuals or not. Even tho he had lost the fight in the only way you’d expect kamaru to lose (last minute ko after dominating), he was quickly written off as too old and damaged to be champ all of a sudden. Even tho vettori lost a few times, where are all the fans that were there in the start? Even with someone essentially undefeated like usman, the hype can disappear just like that

Maybe it was the altitude last time for Leon, but to me it felt like after the first round Usman dominated and in the last two minutes of round 5 for some reason just gave Leon time to think and act, and then it hit him.

@Scott Dishner I agree it is a big possibility. I would also guess he will be more fresh this time. Can't wait to find out what's what and who takes it :). I would say unknown factors are crowd support, altitude from last time, usmans processing of the loss, usmans brain after ko, leon now being champ (goal reached and less motivation or more confident) and probably more stuff I am not thinking about :)

I could easily be wrong, lord knows it wouldn't be the first time lol, but I do think the altitude from UT hasn't gotten the credit it deserves. It can def be a shitty excuse card to play if you lose and maybe that's part of it, but everyone who fought on that card showed it big time imo. It's easy for me to believe that Edwards will show noticeably better conditioning this time around and it could be a significant factor. Or not lol

Im a fan of Leon and Kamaru. They’re both fantastic. But I’m so happy for Leon for his accomplishments. Jamaican immigrant coming from the trenches to become only the 2nd UK Champ in history is a pretty remarkable accomplishment. Not to mention he finally was able to get his mom her own restaurant! That’s beautiful and inspiring
