I’m curious to see if Sean can incorporate some of those calf kicks Alex is so good at from training with him. Would be a big weapon to utilize to help slow down Izzy’s great movement and footwork. Think we all know Sean’s chances are slim but I want a decent fight either way. Sean def has important things to help him in this fight tho like his cardio, pressure and toughness.

@@robtothejuiceNah Alex’s calf kick works because of his specific build and power. For someone like Sean Strickland that barely uses his rear leg, it is unlikely he’ll even attempt leg attacks at all.

It works if you have proper technique and isn’t difficult to land for orthodox against orthodox which Izzy fights in a lot. I’m just interested in the idea of him implementing it as a sort of surprise lol. That’s all.
