I walked by Chito in Santa Barbara and did a double take and was like “is that Chito Vera?” To my friends. He was with his family and stopped to come back and shake my hand before they went about their business. Seems a very genuine guy

@@crazypato3752 he was training Spivak and sharing a room with him for some months in Ukraine, even after everything he did as a legendary coach, it didn't pay much. As a French speaker, I heard his story through his podcasts ("La fine équipe - LFE" on the channel GONG -GI Or No Gi) and it's just incredible. Daniel Woirin is a legend, and still had to sleep for months in a military camp bed inside a boxing gym, after training guys like Silva, Henderson, Machida, Pantoja.. it's crazy.

His problem has always been volume. He needs to let his hands go a lot more than he currently does. Problem being Omalley isn't a guy you wanna get caught over committing aganist. My fear is we get statue chito again (remember when Jason was asking him in the corner if he even wanted to be here), and Sean points him to death. That said I am really excited for this, both guys can shut each other lights out at anytime and both are primarily strikers. Most definitely has potential to be a banger.

Holm is actually fighting on 300 vs Kayla Harrison in her UFC debut. Harrison is -400 favorite which is crazy. I figured she would be favored but Holm shouldn't be that big an underdog vs anyone. Ive always been a fan of hers to so hopefully she can pull the upset. If not I wouldn't be surprised if she winds up retiring

Thats what i'm thinking. I'm acually not that impressed by Benoit, he's great dont get me wrong, but is he elite? I think Poirier is too slick with his boxing and Benoit likes to charge in. I also think Dustin has better Jits on the ground and i see benoit telegraph his takedowns amongst his barrages of strikes going in. I just think Poirier is too skilled for Benoit, and he's still got the dog in him. Dustin gonna dust him.

Jason Herzog is the new top dog in as far as reffing UFC main events. Have him do the Main and Co-main for 299, the the Main for 300 as well as Gaethje v Holloway on the lead up to it. He always pays attention, is aware at all times as to what’s happening and what he’s seeing and never gets startled or jumps the gun. The exact type of ref we need for these types of events with high stakes involved
