MVP isn't a young fighter, he's never going to make a legit run for the title, so it'll just be about getting him the most exciting fights. Kind of like the same thing they did with Michael Chandler, except Chandler was able to get in the title picture when he signed because 155 was pretty stagnant because Khabibs retirement left a hole in the division.

@@davidbell4626 Doesn't matter. Things can change depending on how MVP does against Holland, because there aren't much strikers at WW that would make sense for the UFC to set up against MVP. They want to actually make money off of him, so they aren't going to put him in there with someone like Khamzat for example. Actually depending on what Izzy is planning to do with the rest of his career I could see them setting that up too. IF Izzy isn't going for the title (which i think he is), or if he gets a title shot and loses.

At 5:07 you can see Chitos hand through the curtain as soon as the weights read the tent shifts to the opposite side he was defiantly pushing off it.

Good spot. I noticed the shape looked like his elbow but didn’t see it move after the weight was announced . If you zoom in it looks like his hand is on the metal bracing… I reckon that the ufc is ok with it. Gotta make that main event happen with no drama.

Weight cut is the fight before the fight. I wrestled at 160. I was lucky to walk around at about 155 so weight cut was never a problem. But seeing my other fellow wrestlers cut weight was intense.
