Tati was tired after the first round. Exhausted after the second. No cardio She was physically and mentally beat after the second round. Suarez was in survival mode for the last 3 rounds. Tati looked ineffective in standup taking Zhang down once in 15 attempts. Tati looked slow compared to Weili. Lacked explosiveness Tati was outwrestled on the ground. Her supposed dominance Tati couldn’t finish when she had Weili in a choke submission. Twice. Zhang was physically stronger Weili has much more experience in the championship rounds Weili had won, lost, regained and defended the belt Zhang probably had training sessions tougher than this fight. Her work ethic, coach ability and great trainers improved her skills with every match. Weili is more athletic, better rounded and more humble. 49-46 49-46 49-45 And still……..🥇🏆 Suarez has a ways to go to be a champ. Unfortunately her knee and neck injuries may limit her improvements. Shes running out of time.

I really like Weili. The way she carries her self, always seems so happy to be there doing what she loves. But after everything Tatiana has been from, it was be so sad for her to not reach her ultimate goal. A win lose fight, cause I'll be happy for whoever wins but sad for whoever loses. Yeah Chinese military like martial arts school training getting beat up by older kids vs US wrestling training is very different. Maybe Tatiana referring to her cancer and knee recoveries which were very difficult, but other than that, Weili had it much harder I think in terms of young life growing up and training.

I can't be the only one who thinks Weili's gonna dogwalk Tatiana right? Suarez has got no rhythm cause she hasn't fought since 2023 and in the past 5 years has 3 fights and more injuries than Theo Walcott, Weili's a tank and has more recent experience in the ring, Tatiana really coming off the treatment table into a title fight, yeah Weili by early KO thanks.

With so many injuries on her body, and especially on her neck, I think Weili will end up retiring Suarez. I like them both, but Weili is too strong, she is much better at standing than Suarez, and she also has a good ground fight where she does a lot of damage, and her wrestling has evolved a lot. I hope Suarez comes well prepared.

the down right ignorance and arrogance of thinking only your wrestling will take the title is not only foolhardy but short sighted. It's 2025 and the sport is called MMA. just because someone told you that you would be champ does not mean you will be champ. Weili dominated in every single facet of the fight and shucked off all attempts at takedowns, ironically and justifiably so, worked on her wrestling and took you down. not only did she literally slapped you, she also figuratively slapped you down. just another dreamer would be never was. lastly, to have your partner keep telling you in your corner to take her down when clearly that was not working also spelled doom on top of everything else.

She had a close loss to Blanchfield. Blanchfield is legit and I'd pick her over Weili. Tatiana might beat Blanchfield if she improves her striking.

Didnt expect this low life excuse from Zhang, Namajunas f'd her up twice, as Namajunas also f'd up Jędrzejczyk twice, which makes Namajunas the more effective fighter, better than both Zhang and Jędrzejczyk. @@tiny6912this is Weili 3.0 though. Second fight could have gone either way as it was mostly lay and pray. Weili improved mentally and wrestling wise by a lot since those fights. I think she even got faster (looks slimmer and less muscle mass in certain views). Weili would have high probability to win against her in a third fight. Also, I don’t think rose likes getting hit in the face much (she has mentioned this before) and doesn’t want to be in any wars like Joanna or Weili. Rose is also mentally wonky as she thought she won the last Cookie Monster fight by dancing around for 5 rds and yelling “I’m the best!” all the time.
