Elijah Carlton has beautiful bjj he can attack from unique angles. There are multiple opponents that are better than Rerison like fellow UFC Fight Pass shows EBI Champions Jon Calestine , Gabriel Daffron and Demian Balderrama then DDS Students Ethan Crelinstein and Dorian Olivarez or BJJ Rising Star the loudmouth Owen Jones , any of these guys are More Popular and More Interesting than Gabriel. The Problem is will Mikey Musumeci want to Coach against these guys and then After Fight these Opponents???

This series has been a treat. Before this I knew he was a champion and I knew some like weird facts about him (OMAD, pasta exclusive diet lol) but it's cool to see him work. Kind of like the GSP season of TUF. Like I knew this guy was great, but it's cool to see his mindset and some of his personality.

I agree the guys know that the refs keep scoring for these crappy ankle locks that aren’t tapping anybody so they’re not even really putting a lot of pressure to pass. They’re shooting a lot in guillotines and ankle locks just to get judges favor.

The Nolf match is a perfect example of why no-gi jiujitsu has a serious problem that won’t be resolved any time soon. Half the people see a guy playing top position and assume he’s offensive. Half the people see a guy avoiding doing jiujitsu at all costs by disengaging and running away defensively. Nolf has a really good point at 20:18; if he had stood around and bounced around, he would have won the match. I think he’s right, and that’s not a good thing. Judges see a guy moving around a guard player and go “this guy is doing some amazing jiujitsu”. A bunch of us see it and go, “when is he going to start doing jiujitsu?”

Nolf is 100% right. He only lost because the arm bar attempt. If he would’ve stayed back the last 10 second it would’ve been a win for him. Elijah isn’t bringing the same intensity/energy that he did for PGF. Hope to see Elijah step it up more! Was stoked to see him on this bracket. He’s a force.

Mikey is everything you want out of a coach. I really hope he make an entrance in the world of MMA after this. Not as a fighter, as a coach. A la Craig Jones but much more involved - closer to what Danaher was back in the day for GSP, way back before there was actually enough money in BJJ as opposed only MMA

This is so awesome next season the episodes has to be longer and have more in house content, we hardly see the fighters interact outside of training right now, and Claudia is the perfect person to run the stuff like she does now, tbh she remindsme of Dana lol.
