Honestly I newer liked his style, but as the saying goes, the result speak for them self. And I’m really have the most respect about his back ground, coming from a poor background and ended up in the history of cage fighting!

@@bubamaranovichok4901 This was 20 year old Nick...before he learned to box. He was a Jui Jitzu guy with decent wrestling. Compare this fight to his match up against Paul Daley and its like "Night and Day". He boxing became his greatest weapon. Along with his cardio.

It's crazy to me how he changed his whole style. He was known for jujitsu and his striking was sub par. To his prime where his striking was elite and knocks out Robbie Lawler then goes on late in his career to go 5 rounds with a legend like Anderson silva. I mean talk about evolution of a fighter. Nick's a legend in my eyes

Parker Swafford yes but Dana white and the ufc made him having a hard time anyways. The dude wasn’t a puppet easy to manipulate. Nate just watched his big bro to be able to avoid traps a better way, and still struggled a lot. But they all know how the bros can sell. Proof with this vid. And Usada makes thing easier for some fighters that the UFC drives easy. ( Jones, Silva, are the best exemples)

Joe Rogan's knowledge of MMA was way ahead of its time for commentary. That role was his calling. And NFD is badass, of course.

Nick Diaz has been vocally critical of grapplers like Khabib of how boring they are for always trying to take their opponents down. Yet, here Nick was shooting at every opportunity.
