On episode #2 of UFC Embedded in Boston, featherweight headliner Conor McGregor continues his showmanship while announcing his new deal with Reebok. In the training room, opponent Dennis Siver hits pads and takes verbal jabs at the Irish star. Meanwhile, McGregor does a high-energy photo shoot and some "light" training in Boston's historic Peter Welch's Gym. Conor greets people with grace, and has so much respect and kindness for his fans. People say he's ignorant, and selfish. He's actually pretty cool. I had the privilege of meeting him at a fan expo. He's a good guy.

I'm german and the translations of Siver are not accurate to say the least. They even cut him off mid sentence at the end and made up an translation for that. He wasn't as offensive as they picture him here at all. That said I don't like him for cheating and I love McGregor and his approach to the game. Nobody can tell me that I have to cheer for Siver just bc I'm german as well. When I'm watching fights I support individual athletes, not nations.

he is right. the translation is totally wrong at times. they wrote "he is not a great fighter".. he didn't say that at all. they just squeezed that line in for what ever reason. it pisses me off that they not only fail to translate his words correctly, but they even pretend he is saying stuff he isn't saying at all.

als deutscher nur deutsche anzufeuern wäre jetzt in der UFC eh noch zu schwer ... da es zu wenig fighter gibt. aber da das UFC ausstrahlungsverbot in deutschland aufgehoben wurde, gibt es grund zur hoffnung. mit einem guten fernsehdeal und der guten zentralen lage deutschlands wäre hier sicher auch vieles möglich.

***** das fernsehverbot ist noch nicht aufgehoben. die bayerische landeszentrale für neue medien will gerichtlich erneut dagegen vorgehen. allerdings sind die aktuellen bemühungen der ufc sehr löblich und mit etwas glück bekommen wir 2016 dann tatsächlich ufc im deutschen fernsehen. aber um ehrlich zu sein juckt mich das alles aber recht wenig.. hab fight pass ;)

Hugh Jazz hab auch fight pass, aber der sport wäre sicher um vieles bekannter bei uns wenn man davon auch im fernsehen etwas mitbekommt. das ganze ist eh lächerlich ... klitscho fights laufen einfach im free tv und da motzt keiner das klitscho jemanden mehrfach zu boden schlägt. ist ja ca so schlimm wie die scheiß usk mit indizierungen. das einzige was deutschland durch beides gewinnt sind ordentliche verluste, da andere länder mit den beliebten medien geld machen. idiotisch.

Biggest achievement with 26 years old: Mcgregor - beat Dustin Pourier and got 50gs baby Aldo - Defended for the 3rd time the UFC belt, and had already beaten names including: Faber, Brown, Mendes, Florian, Swanson .... McGregor has a lot of work to do!

I feel as if a lot of guys do their training like rituals and on a set repeated schedule like its their 9-5 job...wake, do a morning session, rest, go back and do a evening session. Conor on the other hand seems to just be more free with it and doesn't really make it a point to do "two a days" or whatever but more so just lives in the gym. Not only is he obsessed but he seems to actually have fun and be loose and free while training and i think this is a big key to becoming a successful Mix Martial Artists.

I don't expect Conor to beat Siver in 2 minutes but if he KO's Siver, he's earned the title shot and I'll reserve a seat on the hype train. Though I think Frankie truly deserves it more, Frankie can wait a little longer and take the winner of Aldo/McGregor.

People get jealous of Conor, the Fact is that he IS an amazing athlete no matter if you like his personality or dislike it. I do believe his style and all will make him the next big thing, but I don't think he is there yet. The title shot should go to Frankie Edgar for being the Number 1 contender, and Conor should beat Ricardo Lamas to become the next Number 1 contender (which I think he can absolutely do!). UFC, please don't make this WWE. And as for Conor, keep doing what you are doing, because you are amazing in that octagon and a great promoter for yourself

People who are weak do things like that." He is getting portrayed like the UFC wants him to be. But the sublines arent equal to what Siver is saying.. Its not just bad translated.. its complete different from what he is rly talking about. I dont get this.. why you doin this? telling lies and stuff. Its a shame.. Siver must feel deceived

In the last siver sequence they dont even letting him finish his last sentence, cutting him off... but however they translate it with "People who are weak do things like that.Because thats all they have" ? WTF?! Does the UFC rly think nobody who is able to speak german would realize the way they are abusing his words?.. Specially Siver himself.. he and his management must be pissed off. Conor deserves to be the next champion. He is the only reason right now, why the UFC is reviving. Many good fighters in different weight classes, but no-one as entertaining as Conor. He likes money, and he puts it where his mouth is. I'm rooting for this crazy Irish man. THE man who will ever pose a threat to him is Anthony Pettis, mind my words. Pettis is also a freak of movement. That fight, if it ever takes place, will be the BOMB.

ive noticed in alot of older ufc fights and some recent ones that the ref stops the fight as soon as a fighter gets into a little trouble that wouldnt really warrent a stoppage and im starting to wonder if some of the fights in ufc are rigged or paid off ?.if you go over some of the fights it seems this way .i mean conner is now thier cash cow and i can see the ref getting paid to stop the fight as soon as dennis gets into slight trouble .
