Brian Sitton I always hated when people skipped over Sakuraba as an all time BEAST. He was always going for it period. Igor knocks dudes dead with haymalers that are 300lbs. That guy is built 5'8" natural HW 230lbs. Huge big boned Ukrainian striker from hell. After a 90 min fight with Royce Gracie.

@@spacecadet8843 There is also scientific wrestling started by Jake Shannon(also a disciple of Billy Robinson just like Joel Bane). And I know people may laugh but you could learn catch wrestling THROUGH PRO WRESTLING. Since pro wrestling evolved from catch it just that it is a STAGED form of catch made for entertainment. But if you know grappling you could then apply it for a real fight. Look at Sakabura he ALSO LEARNED CATCH THROUGH PRO WRESTLING. He started as a pro wrestler then later a mma fighter and last a SUBMISSION GRAPPLER.

I ask Shayna Baszler(catch wrestler) on her youtube channel(Baez) about whether Bart Vale is qualified to teach grappling although he only learned it through pro wrestling(just like Sakabura). She said that she learned CACC through Billy Robinson and Josh Bartnett. Same for pro wrestling. And she said THERE WASN'T MUCH DIFFERENCE IN THE TECHNIQUES SHE LEARNED FOR EITHER ONE. I asked her on her channel about whether Askren vs Paul was a work (staged) or not.

And here are some pro wrestlers that I believe could survive in a submission grappling match. Leyla Hirsch(she knows freestyle wrestling ie catch without submission. Plus she learned her catch submission from pro wrestling. Watch Leyla Hirsch vs David Starr and see how it resemble catch wrestling), Jake Gallagher(He was trained in the famous Snake Pit Wigan-THE ORIGINAL SNAKE PIT. And won MMA fights), Zach Sabre Jr(If you saw him in pro wrestling you would be amazed at his catch style pro wrestling), William Regal(his wrestling coach was trained by Billy Robinson CATCH/pro wrestler).
