Ortega.. often he gets standing holds and then takes his opponents to the ground and not in reverse order. an important note. most of his holds take place while standing in the clinch. that's why i say he's the most dangerous clinch fighter. don't even clinch with this guy cuz he'll snatch you up, lock-down on you and then take you to the ground. sometimes his lock-down holds end the fight in stand-up position without ever going to the ground.

The light weight champ got choked out by the "number 8" and basically fought to a draw the second time. How do those make sense. Diaz should be at very least ranked third behind khabib and ferguson. If you all think Brian Ortega dominates Max because he's "the better martial artist" you need to get off the hype train and really look at Max's performances. He destroyed a man who was on top of the featherweight pyramid for years, and he did it the exact same way twice. He completely shut down Jeremy Stephens and Ricardo Lamas, and was the first person to TKO Anthony Pettis. Ortega is a great fighter, and is hands down the #1 contender. But he has nothing to offer max other than catching him in a submission which is very unlikely. Holloway Ortega will have a similar circumstance as Miocic Ngannou
