It happens.If we are to assume that you are reliable narrator at least give me the same. I saw RDA winning the majority of the stand-up. I saw Felder get more and more desperate with his striking as the fight wore on. RDA looked to be in control of all exchanges as well as where those exchanges took place. Props to both men. Fighting at this high a level at 36 is commendable, but RDA dictated the entire fight and was never in trouble and Felder was either playing catch-up or on fighting off his back for the majority of this bout.

Why do Americans always want to be Irish? I have never met a South African with Dutch grandparents calling themselves Dutch.... Or an Englishman with German grandparents calling themselves German.... It is a rather interesting phenomenon particular to the US that everyone tries to be something other than American.

More significant strikes in all rounds by Felder. Surely if you get continuous takedowns you have to do something significant with them ?

I think that pure control has to come with some Damage, only damage RDA caused was in the middle of the octacon and he still got outstruck by Paul point wise... You could make an argument for paul winning the fight but i don't think the decision was necesarricly wrong either

If you are implying that the takedowns didn't lead do damage, Felder's significant strikes didn't do much either... RDA landed the harder shots, and hurt Paul more than he got hurt himself

@Chakkaly

@@rickyrice9259 MMA isn't for you. If damage is your argument, RDA won, he hurt Felder more. Stronger kicks to the body, landed a nice head kick, elbows in the clinch, nice straight left in various exchanges, and finally the blow that opened a blood fountain on Felder's forehead. Takedowns, top control, guard passes, submissions attempts, all matter to try and see who won the round, on top of all of the damage accrued. Look at RDA's face, barely a scratch. If you think he did nothing on top, by your own criteria, Felder must have done less than nothing then on those minutes.

What was up with the judging tonight, I love felder, but he clearly lost 49-46, or 50-45. You had a blatant robbery against Hansen, and a 27-26 scorecard in Yoder's victory, how does one even come up with a 27-26, pitiful judging.
