That's not next-gen. Next gen fighters are both specialists and well-rounded in all other areas. Look at the current champions. Merab = grappling specialist, well rounded everywhere else. Topuria = striking specialist, well rounded everywhere else. Makhachev = wrestling specialist, well rounded everywhere else. Belal = grappling specialist, well rounded everywhere else. That said, Benoit doesn't need to be a specialist to beat Moicano. He will never be champ material though.

Man I'm french and I love BSD, but Fiziev is too dangerous, BSD is too open and if he doesn't improve his defense and fight those big strikers too soon (Turner, Gaethje, Fiziev) I'm afraid his career will be short! I just hope he stays around the top 15 for a year or 2, build up his skills and keep having those great fights! He's young (even if he looks 40), we have the time

BSD is a machine, but if he wants to keep climbing the rankings, he'll need to improve his stamina and more importantly, his striking defense, as this won't work against top fighters.

I feel like BSD is a good fighter but the Hype from the commentators and ufc really try to oversell him. He can get hit, he can get wobbled, he hasn’t fought really tough competition yet, other than an older Dustin.

Its a style matchup. Poirier is objectively one of the best in LW history skill wise only Khabib, Islam, and Charles are above him. He also has top level endurance and BSDs style is he uses his cardio as a weapon which just doeent work against DP, look at thr Max and Hooker fights, DP gets better the longer the fight goes

Carrément. Autant la défaite contre poirier je ne m'inquiétais pas pour la suite de sa carrière autant vu contre moicano c'est carrément pour sa santé à long terme que je m'inquiète.
