The Renaissance woman does it again 👏🏻 Even though that fifth round was very close and tricky, I still felt that she won overall. Just wish she would use more knees in the clench. Manon was the one utilizing them more .

I agree, but recently she’s had to fight girls that are bigger, longer and stronger than her. Fiorot, Grasso, Santos, Maya….the fact she’s able to go 5 rounds without getting dominated and win a decision is a testament to her skill and fight IQ. When Shevchenko fights people who don’t have both a size and a strength advantage on her like Eye, Andrade, Chookagian or Murphy, she absolutely destroys them.

@peterk2735 I get that, I think she beat nunes comfortably in the second. Even in the first nunes fight, nunes won 2 rounds, got dominated and gassed in the 3rd, nunes technically won the fight but it's hard to imagine she would have survived round 4, val has been unbelievably impressive, holm was a monster win against a much larger woman. I just hope her fame matches her accolades one day

Val shoulda thrown more headkicks, could have taken her out. Obviously she should face Silva now. Valentina vs Harris one day. She needs her other belts. By the way, how amazing are her spinning backfists? She can do it all..and really causes problems when she throws in all those tools. Most female fighters are so one-dimensional.. Living legend. 25-4. Only 3 fighters have ever beaten her and she avenged 2 of those losses. And really, she won that rematch with Nunes as well.
