I was really surprised by that. I was rooting for Grasso but I thought the best chance she had would be to play an avoidance style, stay out of Shevchenko's range as much as possible and land little shots whenever possible to rack up points on the scorecards. I never thought she would stand and trade with Bullet, and come out on top. She was so effective at boxing her that Shevchenko switched gears and started relying on grappling, which was a smart thing to do, but she ended up getting finished on the ground anyway.

I've never met anyone who thought Valentina is cocky. She also has never made herself sound invincible. She is actually one of the champions who takes everyone seriously and never underestimates her opponent; which she makes clear in every interview. Not sure where your sources are from
