yeah i think she's a bit pissed about that last fight being mentionned everytime. i mean she tried to take down Santos again and again only to be reversed for no reason except pride 'i have no veaknesses'. U can bet she won't let that happen again. And yeah Grasso can serve as an reminder for everyone who doubt her and thinks she's slowing down/aging. We'll see.

Alexa Grasso has a style that is a good match up for Valentina. She's mainly a striker who makes the first move. Valentina is comfortable as a counter striker. Who also threatens with an impressive record of ground game victories. So my guess is that soon enough, Alexa will get tentative. I do think that the fight will go to the ground after the second round.

When it comes to close fights sometimes you get the favor, sometimes you don’t. Many feel Nunes got the nod vs Valentina in their second fight, so the Santos fight balanced that out for Val

She’s one of the greatest fighters I’ve seen pound for pound but I wish she turned heel. For a fighter of her record she’s not very well known globally. I’d love to see her act like Joanna Jędrzejczyk at a press conference to really build up a fight because she can be quiet boring at times. I’ve seen a slight heel personality come out of her in particular with the Nunes fights which I loved and find entertaining.

People and most are those that haven't worked out since high school lol, are funny when a champ has a fight that is grinding. VS is stubbon and tried to beat TS ar her best game, once she switched that up and pulled her to center pit and made it a standup fight, it was over. Hell Talia even got beat up while she had VSs back lol and wore those shots, her face looked like she stuck it in a beehive while VS had zero damage to her fair skin that marks easily. Jon Jones had mostly all decisions in his last 10 or so fights, one was a tough fight with Gustafsson but he didnt lose a step. It happens!!!

Funny that they all just take for granted that Valentina would win. I knew Grasso would win. Huge fan of both but I knew Grasso would win. Out-struck her by over 100 strikes. Equalled her in takedowns, swelled her eye up, bad, before the accidental headbutt. What did Santos do? A few takedowns (which, again, Shevchenko equalled) and holding onto Shevchenko? No damage? One good RNC attempt with the others being easily defended by Valentina? Valentina easily won. Easily.
