Currently the most dominant country of mma is Dagestan Russia. The current p4p king makhachev is from Dagestan , and the p4p king that came before him was also from Dagestan, khabib. Plus for the past 10 years Dagestan is been dominating the best division in the ufc 155- by khabib and Islam. So if you dominate the best division and you are also the p4p king you are also dominating the ufc by default as well, so the answer is obvious Dagestan Russia is dominating the ufc right now. Brazil is number 2. And the rest doesn't matter because everyone else is pretty equal.

@@whoispelmesh it really is. The average monthly wage in Dagestan is 38,000 rubbles. That’s just under 400 a month. That’s less than 5000 US dollars a year. Where as the median income in America is just under 60 thousand a year. What’s my point ? One of the very few economic opportunities comes from fighting. So it stands to reason the ratio of fighter to populous would be significantly higher. Every emergent style has its era, BJJ used to dominate mma for decades. The game plan is out on how to negate the dagestani style of wrestling. It’s not even like there is prevalent dominance as it is. There’s only been two champions from Dagestan. A country, again, with little to no other economic opportunities like the UFC does. A Fighter on a 15/15 makes three years worth of wages in a single fight, even if they lose. So of course there’s going to be an influx of them, but they’ve yet to show ‘dominance’ over the sport

I wouldn't say Brazilians ever dominated the entire UFC like the Dagestani are today. They have had and still have a couple of amazing fighters that dominated a single division at a time, but these damn Daggies are absolute monsters, almost every weightclass has (atleast) a Dagestani that is feared, multiple undefeated fighters AT THE SAME TIME

@@crazypato3752 No. Technically a Light Heavyweight, like Pereira for example, can beat a Heavyweight champion. It has been done in the past and can be done again in the future. Jon Jones the best example. But in theory the Heavyweight champ is the hardest to beat.

For their size the Caucus region.....Dagestan, Georgia, Chechnya, Azerbaijan, Ossetia, Circassia, Ingushetia, Armenia. Champions Per Capita population the 25,000,000 people in the Caucus beat everyone.....honorable mention would definitely be the Polynesians. Countries like Brazil, USA, UK, Nigeria, Mexico and China have large populations to draw from.

If you're really want be closer to answer i think fair proportion goes to compare whole population and athletes amount and quality. So Georgia in that comparison is absolutely incredible. Population has to be around 3-4 million at all and so many guys on top. So blessed people

@@Ohyhbaby-rh4fz Thats not true though, powerhouse countries like USA and Brazil make the world run round, so the majority of the population has nothing to do with MMA and is working extensive hours. Countries like Dagestan and Georgia can afford to have cultures that revolve around combat sports.

If countries will less population are bringing out these top class fighters then yes they might be doing something better than the 100 world class gyms in America The majority of the ufc are American lmao, so anyone regarding something different doesn’t really matter. I brought the population point because of the simple fact they are one of the biggest countries so obviously they will have more people coming to ufc, they also have the most unranked fighters, quality over quantity
