My brother is a training partner for DDP, been one for 6 months now I believe. I can wholeheartedly say there does not exist a universe in which Robert Whittaker beats DDP. First of all, let’s just appreciate how beautiful South Africa is. Second, Dricus seems like he actually has his mentality and team locked in. Third, I didn’t really like how Rob is looking past him a little by mentioning the trilogy with Izzy but it’s rob and he’s always an excellent bet

And the reason why this doesn’t happen is because of how DDP looked in his last fight against Darren Till. Not prime Till but still Till. He looked tired, lazy, open to shots. @@dionHD The takedown in which Du Plessis executed some ground and pound and opened Whittaker up is what tired him out. He was exhausted when that second round started which led to the TKO. He fought stupidly. If he had kept the fight standing and continued striking, he likely would've won a decision as he always does.
