Lemos was super strong and she got dominated by Weili's strength. Andrade was the strongest woman in the division by far and expected to walk through Weili's shots. I think she was a little shocked to find that SHE was the one being overpowered.

It still baffles me how she's the only Champion from Asia with how many martial arts have originated there, and how seriously they take martial arts, not to mention how many people live in China. When she destroys Carla, she'll not only be the first Asian to win a UFC title, she'll also be the second.

That's like saying it's surprising how there's no Western Champion in Asian fighting competitions. Most people just prefer to fight on their own turf. Weili had a special reason to join the UFC: she was inspired by Rousey.

Zhang Weili have complete skillset and high technical level. For instance, she uses side piercing kick effectively with great accuracy though it's not an easy technique even for TKD or Kickboxing practitioners

Zhang Weili's spinning back fist that laid out Joanna was so vicious and effective that I've personally renamed the spinning back fist "The Zhang", lol. Also, I've been watching MMA for about a dozen years, and I swear that after Zhang-JJ-2, where Zhang won with that spinning back fist, a lot more fighters have incorporated it into their arsenal. Hey, you can win a fight against someone every bit your equal with one technique? Why not try it, right?

Beast mode....almost animal kill instincts. Like a Pitbull that flips the switch and goes in to rip you a new one. Like a tiger whose teeth sink into your throat and collapses your windpipe. Like a crazed chimp who is busily ripping your ears and nose off. This little dynamo can only be stopped by a lucky shot. Incredible athlete...incredible kill instinct that you rarely see in women's combat sports. She flipped that switch and became a nightmare...lights out
