Former WEC® and UFC lightweight Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone will be inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame’s ‘Modern Wing’ as a member of the Class of 2023. The 2023 UFC Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, presented by Toyo Tires®, will take place on Thursday, July 6, at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The event will be streamed live an exclusively on UFC FIGHT PASS®.

I saw online a lot of people saying that he does not deserve to be in HOF on merit. Well this is still one of the youngest sport in the world and one of the biggest reasons it's the fastest growing sport in the world is because of the fighters like Cowboy Cerrone. A legend and a true definition of cowboy. Many can nickname themselves as cowboys but there is only for me that is the owner of BMF ranch Donald Cerrone. Well deserved and it was a pleasure seeing him compete (Anytime, Anywhere, Anyone)

If the UFC was a story/video game, Donald Cerrone would never be a main/playable character. He would be the beloved supporting character. A central plot point in the story of fighting. The virtued fighter that everyone else knows. The veteran the newbies underestimate. The barrier-to-entry boss fight. And a beloved character every player remembers for the lessons they are taught through fighting him. Most of all, the greatest fighter to never be champ.

I remember watching that TapOut show with Mask yelling "Cowboy!!" every time he saw him. It's the first thing I think about when Cerrone is mentioned.
