it was tarnished by the deleted footage from this video where he was the most unsportsmanlike prick I've ever seen, talking shit to a KO'd Rockhold. Brought that old Bisping back, the one everyone hated for being a dickhead his entire career. I didn't enjoy this moment particularly or think it was that great of an accomplishment. A journeyman got a semi-lucky KO on a new champion who was cocky and had bad defense. The follow up to it ruined the moment then his "title reign" after this was amongst the worst of any "champion". So no, this was pretty lame and contained one of the most unsportsmanlike events in MMA history, probably the most unsportsmanlike moment in a title fight ever. No serious MMA fan really wanted the journeyman, low-mid tier fighter in Bisping to be champ and clog up the division with shitty fights.

@@stackered It was Rockholds first defense you muppet, the guy is a monster "title reign" after this was amongst the worst of any "champion". You don't have a clue about how many times heavyweight changes hands do you lol... @@ukqwerty999 so cringe dude, just admit that Bisping lucked into a title shot and caught a cocky Rockhold who wasn't defending himself then tarnished his win with the most unsportsmanlike conduct in title fight history. Just admit he's a dick and a mid tier fighter, and in finally being honest with yourself, you'll feel a new level of freedom you may never have. It might even make you happier and to stop projecting things like jealousy on others simply because they recognize the reality of a situation from an entirely neutral fan standpoint.

Michael Bisping in my opinion had perhaps the greatest comeback of all time in all of MMA. He’s like our version of Cinderella man. Guy fought juice heads his whole career and even lost a fucking eye for it. He even lost to Dan Henderson in what’s considered one of the most brutal knock outs of all time. Dude lies to the commission to keep fighting with on eye, and then out of nowhere gets a last minute title shot against a guy who knocked him out and choked him out in the same fight when they first fought. He gains a first round upset KO and becomes champion. Then to top it all off he defends his belt against the same guy who brutally and iconically knocked him out cold and wins a decision, preventing Dan Henderson from winning a UFC belt before he retires. Dude also has a dime piece of a wife and a beautiful family, and gets paid to commentate. You can’t make this shit up.
