**a fact that people don't know** Choi Du-ho had an incurable disease called retinal corruption after the match. As a result, his vision went from 2.0 to 0.1 and he showed a decline in his performance afterwards, but now the disease has stopped and he has regained his old skills and improved by adjusting to his failing eyesight

respect to both, but Cub came close to finish in a way Choi didn't, although number of strikes was even his had more impact throughout and had the better of the grappling. Pretty clear cut decision

Doo ho Choi is starting to become one of my favorite fighters recently, that crucifix KO in his last fight won me 225$ on Stake and he just looked amazing the whole fight, and remember he was an underdog in that fight. Honestly cant wait for his next fight now 😅

If anyone has seen Dooho Choi's most recent fight, we can all agree he has evolved significantly more than this version of Dooho and that he definitely will get in top 10 in this division shortly, and hopefuily even top 7 or 5 in ranking. The new version of Dooho Choi was amazing in his last fight.

Had to wtach this again after seeing Cub win at 41 the other night and a month before that Choi also won his fight, surprised he hasnt been in the UFC way more often after being in one of the greatest fights in history against one of the greatest fighters. Choi has beefed up a little and his boxing is a slick as ever so hopefully we see him a lot more in the future.

Maybe. Im a Korean and was rooting for Choi in this fight. But this one Choi lost without any distraction here. Choi was dominating in exchanges in pocket. But then Cup changed the pace and rhythm of the engagement very unorthodox way. Choi failed to adapt to what he didnt prepare for.

@@Tko_Seven I think that's a bit of an inaccurate analysis. Choi in this fight did well against what Cub gave to him. I mean in the 2nd round, Choi was rocked but managed to rock Cub back and he also managed to defend himself on the ground. Yes he lost, but this is a different Choi compared to his most recent fight. In his recent fight against Nate, Choi just looks SO MUCH better. Choi managed to adapt to everything that Nate can bring out and dominated Nate. He also much more well rounded in that fight by showing off some grappling. It just seems like Choi is even better than ever before.

@@hihowrya370 you got me wrong. I didn't mean Choi was completely dominated by Cub in the whole fight. Choice's then known strength, the precise, fast in-pocket exchange with his fast reflex, was definitely winning him the fight. There is famous meme of his former coach "Yang" yelling mid-game "keep playing the tempo/ rhythm game" (it's a rough translation) and that is how he had beat most of other guys till this fight. Cub realized for this specific area, Choi was a lot better so, he started using the awkward pattern which worked well. So, all I am saying is, Choi had some better tools but Cub's broader experience and game plan neutralized Choi. And, of course, he is now a lot better and more well rounded. I do hope he gets to the top, but just objectively speaking, it's early to tell he got all that by beating Nate. Not saying no, just for title shot, it's just so many good fighters and I want to see how Choi would do when things play out in a unexpected way.

-but the two judges who scored this 30-27 30-27 is very questionable. The last judge who gave 29-28 is actually the only one who paid close attention. In the end I believe both of them were rewarded with bonus fight money regardless of winner and this fight was titled as fight of the century or fight of the year by the UFC. Korean Pride Baby
