Look at Chucks shoulders moving around at 3:32, its like he is fighting in the cage! And at the same time have you noticed Dana white watches the screens rather then the fights right in front of him!? And he has the best seats in the house!

I agree, he has tremeandous heart. To me this fight was very similar to Forrest Griffin vs Anderson Silva. Forrest is a real tough guy but he gave up midway through the first round. For Diego to take the beating that he did, for as long as he did, and keep coming at BJ (though ineffectively) is a testament to his courage, strength and determination. Having said that NO ONE is beating BJ at 155 if he keeps training like this...

Dana, i agree with you 100% that if BJ goes to 170 again he has to fight contenders first to get to GSP. Let his body and muscles adapt and make the weight the right way, not just for 1 fight, but make a REAL commitment. @155lb BJ Penn is a killer, I knew he would win but DID NOT expect him to demolish like he did, Diego is a TOUGH fighter. Penn is AMAZING!! I'd like to see him at 155 for a little longer, but who the hell can compete with him?!?

He just has that serious look a lot, that's Chuck if you have never met him. I have many times and he is a cool guy. He can be really funny at times, but can be really serious too.

Diego sanchez stats: 0/27 takedowns 8 punches landed in 5 rounds. I wanted Sanchez to win but he was completely outclassed here. The only thing I'll give him props for is not being not KTFO in the 5th. BJ is unstoppable at 155.

Good fight & Memphis is a cool city, the flight was awful though. My group had a fun time there, the people in TN are very friendly, Southern Hospitality is awesome. I got to talk to Dana briefly & he is always a very cool guy and tries to accommodate all the fans when he signs autographs and pictures. He is very approachable and easy going. Thanks Dana & Mr. Fertitta is a cool guy to, People don't always recognize him, Where was Arianny ? My gf likes to get her pic with Dana she thinks he cute

Sure thing. The first M in mma is for mixed. MMA will by its nature would be more effective than a singular disciplin like jujitsu, muay thai, wrestling and boxing etc... There are however ,imo, some great combi's that encourage a rounded game. Boxing and maybe wrestling go together well....like jujitsu and muay thai... plus i'm bias as an ex-amateure boxer ;) and now Karate's back n fashion...thanks to Lyoto.

The only fight I saw of Penn was against GSP. I thought Diego and him would be a fair match up. I was definitely impressed how much Penn dominated this fight. Got to feel sorry for Diego though. That kid really got a beating.

I agree with the people bashing Diegos corner. I know there's only so much you can tell a fighter in between rounds but when he was telling Diego to take him down over and over all I can think was "HE'S TRYING AND HE CANT. PLAN B"

I gave the first and third to Buentello. Strephan back pedaled the whole third round, and when they would get into a brawl, Buentello would always get the best of them. No way in hell did struve win the third round, no damn way.
