a lot of people talk shit about Dana White but from what i always see he looks like a really cool guy.

I used to box and never had a promoter come to the dressing rooms and meet with me before my fight. You know Dana doesn't pay out the millions to the headliners, but he pays his under card very well. Had a friend fight on the undercard of Hagler/Duran. He made $10K while Hagler and Duran made millions. Dana is a class act.

They should either somehow allow knees, soccer kicks and stomps to a downed opponent thus resulting in more finishes from wrestlers and non- wrestlers. Or change the rules so that wrestling with weak offense leads to no points.

some of the fighters in UFC do get stipends, which is not reported publicy. Also ALL fighter sign a "sub-letter" agreement pay which is undisclosed pay which is not reported to the commission & to the public. Also don't forget about sponsorship pay as well Jordan Breen from sherdog said UFC puts more $ back into the sport than boxing does for boxing.

@Rai3 Yeah they dont bring in anything close to the same money. They are paid well for 20 minutes of work like 30k and if you get fight of the night you get a decent gate percentage as well. Your first fight in the UFC could get you 100k so not sure what people are talking about.

@blindbrad11 GSP fought Thiago Alves and he was like 205 when he stepped in the cage. And he still was able to control him with his wrestling. We all saw how Chael controlled Silva with his wrestling, so a size difference doens't bother GSP as much
