I couldnt disagree more. I could easily make a list of the 2010 fighters achieving more then the 2000. I will use one example Usman look what he has done, but i could use 10 more examples like Ferguson became interim, THug rose becoming champ, Gastelum nr 1 contender, Tj becoming champ and so on. These are all 2010+

back in the 2000 ufc had the monopole of mma now there is more promotion so fighter goes through local circuit and become famous to join ufc thats why Dana looking for a fight.

many of the 2000s fighters have been out of the game for long enough for their careers to achieve a legendary or old school status and so when we think about them it's usually in this way. 2010 fighters havent had enough time to grow into that status yet, but many will and superceed the 2000s fighters.

I don't think any other TUF winner has gone to have had such an epic run. There's been TUF winners who've gone on to be elite fighters and UFC champions, but none have gone on to become one of the all time greats in Usman. Future Hall of Famer for sure.

Man, seeing all these great fighters whose careers have essentially passed on is crazy. Many of these fighters were going to go on and do big things and some did. I didn't realize how few actually survived the waves of new talent

Sad how some of these winners never got the chance to go far. Amir had an injury that basically ended his career along with holdsworth. Ryan hall missed out on the last of his prime years looking for opponents, Johnathan brookins was pushed WAY too hard by dana to where he quit. Sad really, these guys had great potential.

8 UFC champs. 4 title challengers. ( One of the title challengers went on to win later. Thug Rose) 6 won tuf, 2 loss in the tuf final. (Thug Rose and Dillawshaw) 2 interim champs. 1 won champ in bellator. I might have to rewatch in case I missed any.

It's crazy how after 28 seasons there are only a few of these fighters left. What's even more impressive are the super few who lost during their season came back stronger and are now champions. Thug Rose! Shout out to Nate Diaz tho, holy shit he is from season 4 and still in this game.....That is truly insane lol

I know he's not well-liked, but you gotta give TJ a shout out as well. He lost the finale, but went on to became not only a UFC champion but one of the greatest Bantamweights of all time.

Of all the tuf winner the one that let me down the most was Brookins he really seemed like he could throw it all together at the time, and the biggest disappointment in all tuf history was by far Uriah hall followed closely by jt money
