Just like what they are doing now, he isn’t as boring as you make it out either. You probably weren’t a fan since he last fought. Most fans know Edwards, albeit personality wise he isn’t extremely memorable. That being said neither really is Usman, on top of that Usman decisioned people like Leon for most his career and only recently after being champ has he even got a big following. People are pretty acquiesced about Leon being boring and not a good fighter at the moment but thats the community I suppose.

Long as he's not boring where it counts in the cage , shouldn't have act like a 15 yr old to be top guy .

Its almost like it is his fault, turned down wonderboy 2-3 times, stayed inactive for almost 2 years, the only big names he fought are guys who are 155ers, one of them in which Conor beat in less than a minute, just look at the size between him and RDA how that fuck was ever made and he still did nothing spectacular. This is not the guy who will hold the belt, probably ever. Side note: Dont forget he is only fighting on his card because the UFC removed him from the rankings for inactivity, they had to blackmail him to fight and even then he was fighting a guy who is not even in the top 10 and now he is fighting number 13 and thinks he deserves a title shot after it.

There aren't many guys out here who would have those same highlights. To be that well rounded is impressive against any competition in the top 15, which a lot of these opponents are/were. When guys like Masvidal & Colby are turning him down, that should tell you all about how good he is.
