I’ve never seen a fighter like Michael Chandler who can lose, multiple times at that, and still have his stock elevated. He’s consistently inches away from winning against every single opponent.

Fight anyone? Nahh.. he doesnt want to fight anyone with elite Jiu jitsu and ground game (except Charles for the belt) and keep on choosing his opponent. Hooker, Gaethje, Poirier all have good or no Jiu Jitsu at all. Now he has to face top 10 ranked in Gamrot, Tsarukyan, Fiziev, all upcoming and young killers. Lets see how he handles them. No more Gaethje-Chandler rematch

Chandler showed his dirty side. He knew after the first he was fucked. He spit a mouthful of blood into Dustin’s eyes, he fish hooked his mouth and eyes and he landed a dozen back of the head blows while the ref was telling him to stop and then argued with the ref saying they were not back of the head.

Because the ref gave him a verbal warning and denied committing a foul, then throws poirier under the bus saying he would have carried himself more gracefully while spamming backflips after knocking tony ferguson out. This narcissist has you young fans wrapped around you’re finger. You know who else used to be a really classy guy? Jon jones. Both of them made everything sound great for tv, and then be all over the place with their actions.

@@louyht7 what is he going to try differently? Wrestle? He did that, he even tried to wrestler against Justin but Justin is a wrestler unlike Dustin and was able to reverse him attempts. Dustin just survived which gassed Chandler out, it's got nothing to do with him "not trying". Do you want him to fight more calm and not explosive? His explosivneness is the reason fighters like Justin or Dustin are cautious, you take his explosivneness away and fighters won't fear him.

I'm not a fan of Chandler's fighting style, but I have the deepest respect for this dude. This is how a champion handles themselves in defeat. Contrast this with Connor McGregor when he was in a similar situation. Your stock just rose a million % in my eyes. Great dude.

I honestly like that about Chandler. He fights evil, it was nasty. Such a parallel from what he portrays to the world and how he carries himself. When he steps in the cage he's blasting strikes, trying to hurt people, doing anything to try and win, even cheat. It's not admirable, but I like it

He needs BJJ training HARD. His takedowns are amazing he's so explosive but his top control is SERIOUSLY lacking. Chandler had 2 instances where the back was completely open and he couldn't secure the back mount, and one time when he did take the back he was much too high on the back and wasn't able to do anything with it. Chandler had multiple times to finish the fight on the ground and couldn’t control or execute. Poirier got Chandlers back 1 time and got the submission instantly. That made all the difference.

The swelling the next morning on this man’s face would’ve been horrendous. I had two pussy low-level amateur fights when I was younger, hardly landed any good blows on each other but the next morning I was covered in scuffs, bruises and swelling. At first I didn’t really like Chandler. Now he’s probably my favourite fighter on the entire roster. Such a class act and every fight he’s in is a hall of fame worthy fight. He’s Hall of Fame for sure and only 4 fights into his ufc career. Legend

Agreed, was thinking that too. You’ll be hard pressed to find a guy go 2-3 in the promotion and be HoF worthy, but he truly is. Excited to see more of him!

This man makes such a great example as an an athlete and a champion. He may or may win the belt......but he's a champion in and out of the octagon. It's an honor to be his fan.

He hit intentionally on the back of Dustin's head at least 10 times....that could have a serious blow to Dustin's health...this guy is a dirty fighter....

Mike is such a savage. Not only does he fight all killers he’s capable of winning every fight. Can’t wait to see him in the octagon again and go for title run
