Maybe an enigma, maybe just a skill gap? I think he is strong enough to face off and hold his own against people (Like Olivera, for example) who are just "better" boxers, etc. Yet he is capable of countering their skill with brute force. Since he is also smart and "leveling up" constantly behind the scenes, it's a winning combination.

@@Billbeaux True, but Paddy has much more room for growth. He keeps his chin too high and his hands low, so against a really good striker it'll hurt bad. Don't forget Ilia is also going up a class meaning everyone is going to be bigger than him. 3-4 inches taller average, with a longer reach

Nah those were legit. It's way harder than people think (even DC, i guess) to truly strike behind the head illegally. You have to plant the fist then from there, if any part of your hand can touch the ear, including your wrist, it's a legal blow.
