That's why I have tremendous respect for MMA and I'm so happy I found the sport about 4 years back. I understand why boxing has more following (and it will be like that till the end of time), but the corruption in that sport makes me sick. Imagine the unforgivable crime of the establishment watching Floyd and Pacquiao go all through their prime in the same division without fighting. People should be in jail for many years for that. The same thing is happening between Crawford and Spence right before our eyes. Those two would go through their prime without fighting. It's criminal, it's unthinkable.

I was supper happy for Leon and extremely happy for Alex Pereira and Islam one felt like i was part of that camp which won the belt. These guys made me very happy as an MMA fan.

I personally feel like Leon's title win was a fluke, again just my opinion. Kamaru has been tearing thru everyone & he already beat Leon before. Leon caught him no doubt. There been plenty of times where a fighter who is winning convincingly suddenly gets hit with a shot they don't see coming that turns the tide instantly and that's what happened there. I will not be surprised if Kamaru comes back to do to Leon in their rematch what Amanda Nunes did to julianna pena in their own rematch.

The knockdown shots Pena absorbed took it's toll on her equilibrium in # 2. fact but that tap job performance Nunes gave in #1. was a standing ovation.

@@mryear3000ify Time will only tell how consistent Nunes remains with her skill level, whether she can hold it down or gets lazy again with the training + unpreparedness for a title match as she did before, 2023 should be an interesting year in that division can't wait to see someone else take that belt away that she underestimated, + then have her fight her way back again to retrieve it.

I struggled to stay awake during that fight. Rose is a great fighter but she totally let Carla do her whole lay & pray crap thru out the fight. Thank God that Zhang made Carla's 2nd title reign a brief detour just as Joanna did with Carla's first.
