I don’t see Tai ever being champ…but I also don’t see him ever getting cut from the UFC and he’s definitely gonna make a lot of money. Even though he’s probably never gonna get the strap he’s still very skilled with nukes in both hands. You def can’t let the body fat fool you he’s got solid boxing and heavy asf leg kicks. Now combine his overall fun happy go lucky don’t give af attitude the dude def brings some life to the heavyweight division.

he was a follow up shot away from being interim champ vs Gane, so actually HW has such a low skill floor that even fat guys who don't train can get the belt if they string a few KOs together.

TAI is the underdog in this fight even though he is ranked 6th in the heavy weight division and Volkov is ranked 7th.. how bro.. Tai is at home.. what am i missing here? Tai is paying 2.90 an Volkov is paying 1.39... whatttttt

The odds are because its a bad style matchup for him, rankings don't mean anything, how fights individually match up is everything. Fat brawler HWs don't usually do well against taller longer, technically superior strikers unless they get a lucky KO (see Lewis vs Volkov), that could happen again some of the time, but when you bet money you don't usually bet on the hail mary, you bet on what will happen most of the time which is a Volkov decision or TKO win.
