On July 3rd, UFC 116: Lesnar vs Carwin will bring two goliaths into the cage when Brock Lesnar and Shane Carwin compete for the unified heavyweight championship. Brock will dominate, looking at recent videos of them 2 Brock looks in the best shape has been while Carwin doesnt...he's so much smaller from days before UFC and he looks really soft compared to his UFC debut. That being said whoever lands a big shot can end it the fight, but Brock will use his superior strength & wrestling to take Carwin down and GnP him to a win, Carwin just has a punchers chance

the Brock of 2008-2009 would of.demolished cain and overeem.however he suffered diverticulitis and was going through big stages of adulthood as having another kid

Not at all. Both would have still KOd him on the feet. Lesnar wouldnt be able to take those guys down w/ or w/o that illness and would be stuck striking with both who are much better strikers. Just like JDS would have destroyed Lesnar if that fight stayed in tact.

Daniel Santana dont think so Alistair and Cain killed lesnar his striking sucks stand up is horrible if lesnar was healthy he would have still lose to Cain and Alistair have far better stand up and striking then him and plus brock doesn't like getting hit in the face he striking sucks he looks scared and timid while standing. at the first sign adversity, he turtles up and runs away like he is being attacked by bees.striking like that will not get him his belt back .

The Afro Tank his coaches suck they arent teaching him proper way and all so patty berry why his striking sucks and you know it and plus if i was me i would have done to AKBA American Top team or would have done to the best tai boxers in thailand and Muay thai bobby lashley is far better game in MMA then lesnar submission skills he has the striking advanced and also stand up he is also a wrestling at TNA and he trains at American Top Team stop making excuses he is terrible thats why he got dolimolished by Cain and Alistair have far better striking and stand up then him thats why they have been trained the proper way he looks scared and timid while standing at the first sign adversity he turtles up and runs away like he is being attacked by bees striking like that will not get his belt back

lol take a look, brock lesnar after the first surgery, without his 100% ready, beat the undefeated shane carwin (12-0) all knockout in first round. so great record for shane carwin in his greatest days in his carrer, and lesnar beat him in second round and make him to tap out.. and, JDS was lucky to beat shane carwin because if shane carwin had more seconds will was the winner, so my opinion.. jds can not beat so easy brock lesnar in his 100% ready, for sure.

Great card. If Carwin get some lateral movement and counterpunches going, he should have a shot against Lesnar. If it goes to the canvas with Lesnar on top, done deal. Looking forward to seeing Silva. I love the guy's heart. Good job UFC

@MrPsychomike1 - Exactly the point. People are still in disbelief that Lesnar doesn't have a "glass chin" and get make a comeback when you least expect it. Not Lesnar's fault Shane doesn't know what "round 2 world" looks like and got owned because of it. He exhausted too much energy, leading to his defeat. He was relying too heavily on those punches to win. If there is to be a rematch, he would still lose... Lesnar has far more resiliency than he does and once Shane is on the ground it's over.

As much as I like Lesnar, I still think it's a damn shame Carwin didn't win. His record was just awesome. No one ever going beyond one round with him... that's just badass! Not that 12-1 is bad or anything. It's just a shame. :P

Wanderlai fractured some ribs in training and was forced to drop out, even though Leben just fought he didn't sustain any injuries and wasn't on the the NSAC recovery list allowing him to fight again... he stepped in for Wand... He'll prob lose but I was looking forward to Wand :/

They both weigh the same but Lesnar looks a lot bigger, I would like to see one of these go up against Bob Sapp, even though i think Lesnar and Carwin would both destroy Sapp it would be interesting to see how they deal with a fighter they cant just bully and throw around, Sapp is 6'5 and 380pounds of pure muscle, he has no technique in his strikes, but who needs technique when you have that much weight behind a punch.

this is crazy i've never seen or heard anything like this before, brock lesnar a man who dominates people with his huge size advantage and athleticism finally fighting a guy his own size with pretty good athleticism and real power in his hands. people still do not see how big this fight is even with the hype surrounding it i think the term "biggest heavyweight fight ever" suits it well, since fedor vs brock ain't happening.

Carwin could get lucky with a knockout but I would bet on Lesnar. He is so aggressive that he is always open for a knockout or, more likely, a submission. However, barring the lucky shot by Carwin, I think Lesnar is the superior fighter. If Lesnar plays it safe and doesn´t take too many risks he has the tools to beat this dangerous opponent.
