On site at the MGM Grand, Dan Henderson sends a deep-fried, weight-cutting gift to his co-main event opponent, former heavyweight Daniel Cormier. UFC Embedded is a new, behind-the scenes, video blog series focusing on the final days leading up to an epic PPV event.

I love how Henderson and DC have a mutual respect for each other, and how Hendo can just walk into DC's training room with the Popeye's Chicken as a joke, and no trash-talk or any bullshit drama started. Can't wait for this fight though.

Both AKA and Team Quest are affiliated with Checkmat jiu jitsu so there are some close ties between gyms along with both guys being Olympic wrestlers.

Jaime Kaufman See.. this is bull. The first time I ever even heard the name Ronda Rousey was back on the JRE long before she ever came into the UFC, and in that podcast she seemed like a really cool chick to be around, very humble, down to earth and very respectful. When she talks about her background, her beginnings in Judo and how she's been going against the grain pretty much her entire life, then you understand her rough exterior but she still seems like a cool person. She's stated multiple times that she dislikes and does not respect Miesha Tate because of things she's said/done in the past, I actually think it's MORE respectful of Rousey to stay true to her words rather than be all fake and phoney shaking hands with Tate.

I will be 44 this summer, too! I feel Dan's pain when he walks haha...and could not imagine fighting at this age. BTW, once you are warmed up, the pain goes away. Mad respect for Hendo!

Hendo no weight cut = 196 pound. Lost 3 out his last 4 and looked really bad before he knocked out Shogun. Cormier walks around 220 pound cut to 206 pounds. 14-0, top 5 heavyweight in the world before moving down. Genius match making by UFC.

Props to Barao for remaining in the fight and trying to go for the finish. His style just caught up to him is all. He reminded me of old school Chute boxe while Dillashaw fought like the new breed of MMA. Great fight by two high level competitors. Now HOPEFULLY Cruz can stay healthy so he can come back and try to take the belt. His style and movement is like Dillashaw's and that will make a great fight. I really enjoy Cruz's fights and Dillashaw has grown on me. Dillashaw VS. Cruz for the bantamweight strap.
