On episode #3 of UFC 183 Embedded, middleweight headliner Nick Diaz has some feedback for the camera crew before he dives into his fight week duties. A high-energy Anderson Silva poses for photos and checks his weight. He stops to offer some advice to receptive women’s bantamweight Sara McMann, while her opponent Miesha Tate does media on behalf of the fight. Plus, the event’s big stars face off at Ultimate Media Day, including Silva vs. Diaz, Tate vs. McMann and welterweights Tyron Woodley vs. Kelvin Gastelum. UFC Embedded is an all-access, behind-the-scenes video blog leading up to the UFC 183: Silva vs. Diaz superfight, taking place Saturday, January 31 on Pay-Per-View.

terrorsquadlith I don't think it's intelligent to define a whole class of fans - many of which you have never met, by the youtube comments of the chodes that actually spent time arguing and making excuses. Diaz is obviously a good guy with a social problem. He grew up in some tough shit, and ended up a tough, closed off guy. I wish him the best. I hope you grow up a little bit, too, bro. Everyone is a person. No logical reason to hate Diaz because of youtube chodes. He puts himself on the line. That deserves respect.

After watching so many episodes of Embedded, I feel like I start becoming a fan of every fighter featured and I respect them even more for what they have to do as a UFC fighter. What I do miss though, are the vlogs that show post fight stuff. I think that's why I'm so invested in these kind if videos. You get a feel of the fighters outside the octagon and it's amazing.

So I talked to Dana, 1 year before my normal rematch with Chris Weidman i break leg.. It hurt a lot.. But it's sport, it's ufc.. It's normal! Dana. So when I talked to Dana he asked if I was ready for back, I smiled and say yes I am ready for back. I excited for back. I talk to my family about back in ufc but they say please no back but I say ufc is life, I need back. They say ok go back.. I say love you, i excited to be back. So I talked to Dana and he say you fight Nick Diaz. I say ok, its normal, Diaz is normal, I normal... I excited to be back for my fans, family, Ufc, Dana, it's normal, and my fans. It's normal

After this fight Nick Diaz will have fought the greatest Middleweight, Welterweight and Lightweight in MMA history...Its crazy how he still gets disrespected by MMA fans, who else has fought Anderson Silva, GSP and BJ Penn? Not to mention the stoppage wins he has over World Champions in Gomi and Lawler.

As a diaz fan I'm rooting for him but even I know the odds are stacked against him. Even with the two consecutive losses to Weidman asisde everybody knows Silvia's gonna win but I have to say.....If Diaz somehow pulls this off.... It will be legendary.

The biggest challenge for any MMA reporter is probably when interviewing Nick ie to ask him the right things at the right time and to get him to express himself comfortably

This is like a dream for me. Anderson is the GOAT of them all imo. and Diaz is a relentless cardio freak with excellent jiu jitzu and boxing skills that reaches far beyond the Octagon. I think Silva wins by unanimous decision. IF Diaz should win, it would be due to a punch that catches Silva BEHIND his left ear (As seen in Weidman vs. Silva 2 before the horrific injjry). Mark my words fellow fighting fans :)

Can't wait to see Nick and Silva back in action. What a matchup UFC. Very unpredictable fight as both are great fighters. Tyron Woodley vs. Kelvin Gastelum: The winner will be the one with the best Cardio. Woodley has been known to come out swinging for the hills where Gatelum is the more patient fighter. Should be interesting.

Not trying to be a curmudgeon here, but I find Anderson Silva's personality to be obnoxious beyond belief. He's like a socially awkward child trapped in a man's body, kind of like Michael Jackson. It's not just the language barrier. There are plenty of other fighters who don't speak English who don't act like that. He just tries way too hard to be funny and likable, and it has the exact opposite effect. Just my two cents.

Nick Diaz is as tough as it gets. Didn't fight for 2 years and takes a fight with the GOAT, having a weight & reach disadvantage. It's the level of toughness like when Dan Henderson wanted to step up as a replacement to fight JDS. Pretty much no chances & getting badly beat up guaranteed.
