On episode #5 of UFC 184 Embedded, women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey and challenger Cat Zingano have an intense split-screen interview after media day. Then it's time to work out and make weight along with the rest of the UFC 184 card, including women's bantamweight opponents Raquel Pennington and Holly Holm and a salsa-dancing Josh Koscheck. ***** Jones has definitely changed from ragdolling opponents and throwing weird techniques to Taking opponents down and landing elbows, and now he is primary a standup fighter. Cain hasn't fought in so long, and has faced the same 2 opponents in his last 4 fights, it's hard to tell.

That just means she needed to improve more because she spent her whole life in judo.. And judo and stand up are two different animales, when's the last time you seen Ronda throw a good leg kick, like a pettis or Cowboy? All she does is boxing, judo, bjj, and strength and conditioning.. She's able to get away with it for now.. But eventually she will have to go to war with someone who is as good as her or if not better,.. But the search continues.. As far as Cain not evolving lol there's really not much more you can evolve into once you're the heavy weight champion of the ufc, because why change what got you to become a champion?? So change for a dominant champion is unnecessary.. You can maybe improve a lil on various things like technique, your mind set.. But for a dominant champion to dramatically change between fights is not good.. Unless your division is two years old filled with, let's face it b and c level fighters..

Luc Fox They didnt show Rondas weight and remember she used to fight at 150 and 145, she is not exactly a lil girl. As for Cyborg, she killed the same girl Ronda once fought, with 3 seconds of difference in favor of Cyborg + Ronda did 0 damage to her while Cyborg blew up her nose and hole face. Not one bantamweight has shown that kind of power.

The difference between both fights is that Ronda played to her strengths and took Tweets down where she is the weakest and subbed her while Cyborg played to Tweets own strengths in the stand up game and beat her there

SatanicalEve The difference is that Ronda did what she only knew how to do at that time, regardless of what the other fighter strengths were. Since we're talking about the strengths of Tweeks, I do believe she (Tweesk) has more submissions than TKO's, I doubt very seriously you can say the same about Cyborg. So I do believe Cyborg played to her own strengths and knocked the girl out, for which Cyborg is known for. :|

I know what a joke. She was gifted the belt and has only had 4 ufc fights, some against subpar competition. Bitch, if you can fight and stay at the top for years and years against the absolute best like Silva, bones, and GSP then maybe you can consider yourself one of the greatest. Wmma is still young, not like men's where everyone in the top 15 is crazy good. In 5-10 years it will change but right now only the top 4 or 5 are any good, Ronda you suck

@ 1:45 Dolce says Jon Jones and Cain don't evolve. I can't make a case for Cain because he doesn't fight enough but Jon Jones is damn near the definition of evolution and adaptation. Jones in every fight finds a way to beat his opponent and he does it at their own game. He out grinded DC in dominate fashion. He stood up with Glover and dirty boxed him not really using his range. He does something new in every fight that people practice in the gym the upcoming Monday. Oh and when things aren't going well for him? The Lyoto Machida fight where Machida was having success closing the distance Jones took him down cut him and made Machida hesitant of the TD. He tried to out wrestle Gus and he wasn't successful so what does he do? He decides to stand with him and it got him the W. Rashad Evans is another guy that wouldn't be taken down by him so then Jones starts throwing standing elbows instead of regular punches. Come on Dolce get your shit together.

How do you not like Rousey at this point? I use to be the guy on KZbin bashing her personality and convincing myself that that was important. But at this point, how do you not admire her level of skill and dominance. Her accolades have caught up with her arrogance. She's definitely one of the best things going in a sport that keeps taking hits by injuries, PEDs, and bad choices by it's leading promotion. When I saw Cats open workout the day before the fight I was thinking from what I saw that they are not the right trainers for her. The way the dude was holing mitts for her was all wrong. He didn't show any knowledge from experience if you go back and watch her open workout and watch the way he held the adds for her. This made me think that they don't have the brains to properly prepare her. I say this from lots of experience. It is very possible that Cat got to where she is from her own talle
