It's pretty simple. The conference was already available way before it started as a sceduled livestream event. For this the need a thumbnail. So basically you can't tell which fighter to choose as thumbnail because you won't know who will be in the press confernce before the ppv goes down. In the end it depends on who wins their fights.

as a huge fan of her, Im trying to undestand Rose's mind and heart, so this is just an hypotethical analisis. For all the people who think Pat Barry is a problem in Rose's life, you are wrong... it seems super creepy and possesive at first, but my later understanding is that Rose really leans on him for many aspects of her emotional life... quoting her i can add "Thru Pat I can be anything", in the interview with Ariel they both pointed out, her loss to Karolina was because they both fought and Pat wasnt in her corner. She also once said "This journey would make no sense if i didnt had the people that are with me right now", even in the initial ufc 237 press conference she said (not exact words) "if Pat is not here, i feel like im missing a leg... i mean my heart" So... It seems to me that Rose is clearlly inmenslly talented, but she doesnt enjoys that talent as much as Joanna would, or Michelle would... She reminds me a little of Mike Tyson in his early years, The love that her family gives her (Pat, Tom, Trevor, etc) is what fuels her. You guys remeber what Mike Tyson became after his original coach / adoptive dad "Cus" D'Amato died?... a fucking mess, Don King slipped right in and evil took over. In Rose's heart, it seems to me that there is no vision of a hill to conquer, no personal ambition, there's no "i want to be the first Champ that is a Mom" there is no "i want to be the most dominant champ", there is no "i want to win this for Brazil"... there is only "be a nice person, i just want to pet my dog, I always dreamed to be a farmer". Again, just like Mike Tyson used to do EXACTLY as he was told by the person he loved (D'Amato), he became excellent at his job, but as soon as he finished the fight in 30 seconds via KO, he ran back to his adoptive dad, indiferent to his acomplishment, because the only thing that matters is that dynamic that enables that love, that family relationship, not the crowning achivement. Rose's Also had or has emotional issues like everyone else, but they seem more in her skin than other fighters, and that love that her fighting skills has brought to her life is well worth the effort she puts into mastering the techniques, and she has.... In this fight she looked like the best female fighter i've ever seen, super sharp, technical, fast, strong, fearless, just... amazing, she removed the rock solid armor Jessica had and made her look human. But just like young Mike Tyson... as soon as its over, she is happy its over, and gets out of there. When i saw the third Embedded video, when she is looking at her fight with Joanna, she seemed to like someone who does something for others, rather than her self... I've personally been there, i've done that in the music bussiness. Do it to be with the person you love, do it because you love the people you do it with, rather than the act it self, basicly you find yourself surrounded by people with an obsession but you dont have it, but you love those people very deeply... That is why one is able to just soak in information and become good at it, but in several aspects the heart is just not there, there is no vision of the future, no obsession, no urge to do it again, no motivation to not be nervous and desire to be in there, no atention to bussiness details (like Joanna with her trash talk, or Michelle with her constant PR). Anyways... when i saw that Embedded video, i felt that Rose was going to Brazil to hand out the Belt... and she did, kinda. She absolutelly gave her best (i think...), but she is also definetly very glad she lost. Women can be super complex like that... so much that DC had a hard time wrapping his head around her comment of "its just a huge preassure of my shoulders". How can she be glad? because THAT, being the champions is NOT what she enjoys (or enjoyed) about fighting. Maybe, like Donald Cerroni, once she has a child, her perspective might change (or not). If Rose decides to stop fighting, we will mourn the loss, but i will definitly be glad that she is happy out there doing what she loves. to me, Rose is a mixture of a very simple honest heart, with complex toughts an sensibility, no personal ambition but willing to go miles and miles for the love of her close ones, her Ego is not a problem, her doubts sometimes are (that is where Pat's hype confident talking and facial expressions come into play, he seems to help her quiet down the storm of inner toughts). She is a great talent when guided with interest and attachment, and when she gets it, she is excelent, she shows her education, but when she dont gets it... like she said ""when i got bored... trouble happened, idle hands are the devil's hands"". A smart person with no direction becomes his/her own enemy, too many options, that is why doubts rampage and rational lies become reality. I do personally understand the boredom of doing things twice, even if they are not exactly the same, in my heart im repeating my self and even if i fuck up, i try a differnt road. my friends even used to tell me "fuck man... its ok to recicle ideas, or do what works twice". Like Rose said "Second time i fought Joanna, it was hard for me to be in it because i knew how to beat her". I REALLY hope she finds desire in her fighting carrear again, i would love to see her fight again. if not... at least i do hope she finds her way, her peace and enjoys her life.

Listen Rose was by far the more talented fighter in there, but it wasn't a fluke, it was a major mistake on Roses part and really on her coaches and her game planners. They trained that kimora as a defense to the slams specifically but obviously they didn't plan for what if she still gets me up and I'm holding that kimora. Even DC commented that u have to le it go and transition to ur bacc. Rose didn't do this and it seems that it goes bacc to her trainers cuz u perform what u practice and she performed a tactical error. I do not think Andrade planned for that to happen. More than defeating Rose, Rose defeated herself, or imo her coaching let her down. I commented that i was worried about the clinch and TD after i saw how much stronger that JJ was than Rose in 2nd fight. I had a weird feeling something might go wrong for Rose, thou i never saw this coming, yet pro coaches should see this coming imo. Definitely not impressed by Andrade thou. She doesn't have a great variation of skills or techniques. She has a ton of holes, she won that solely on brute strength sonf opponent error.

Jose fought a bad fight, He could of leg kicked that dude until he tapped. He is done, Can tell by the way he fights n e more his heart isn't into it like it was. Conor KOing him changed his whole fighting game, hasn't been the same since. Should have watched Bellator, This UFC card was super boring.

He threw a couple of counters with bad Intent but the rest of the fight he was just not in it. He looks so sharp in the first round with his dad and I. His reaction time was incredible. Idk why he didn't try to initiate exchanges with combos ending in leg kicks. Aldo got hit by lil heathen like hard. He was rocked. And still managed to stay composed and blast him in the liver so idk why he wasn't willing to exchange with this guy

Rose's head has never really been in the game. Talking about "the pressure" being lifted from her shoulders? This is why you do it Rose! Time to do something else or you'll get yourself killed, girl.
@MoooseBlood5 жыл бұрын
If you think being a UFC champion comes with zero pressure you're fucking out of it. Rose is one of the few champions to really exemplify what a champion is. Right up there with GSP. She probably wants to have kids and start a family tbh.

Never been in the game? I forgot you've been her psychiatrist for the last 15 years huh? I don't know what she's thinking. Pressure off the shoulders: have you never said something that doesn't make immediate sense in an intense situation? With millions watching? She know what she means stop putting stuff in her ear. Imo, she will be back, slick as usual

she's always been a head case. She's been w Pat sib=nce she was 16 and he was 30. She doesn't seem to have a very healthy support system. I blame this loss on her coaching which prepared a kimora defense but didn't train her to let go if lifted up. A major flaw in game planning. She is missing an elite grappling coach.

Rose was outclassing Andrade. Andrade was trying anything repeatedly in hopes of success. Really don't care for those slams, just seems like intentional 'cheating' in an act of desperation. Rose was head/shoulders above. Rose rolled over and took her mouth piece out, she wasn't out out like we've seen in other cases. Congrats to Rose and Andrade.
@PandemoniumPirateRadio5 жыл бұрын
Rose was really showing Champion level stuff, Andrade basically got more lucky than anything 🙄 Which, for sure, is a part of the sport. But it's not very Champion like to get COMPLETELY beat until you land a lucky piledrive smashing the opponent on the back of their head. Which is illegal to punch at, but strangely legal to throw their and your entire body weight on, makes sense right... 👌🙄 Like commentators said, if Rose had let go of the Kimura, she would've landed on her back and the fight would've continued. She held on, something Andrade got lucky about and can't really claim was "part of her technique" or plan. She was getting wrecked. All she had was that piledrive, that's it. Is that a Champion of "Mixed Martial Arts"? 😑 Who gets beat in every facet of the sport except slamming someone with luck? Oh well. No shit Rose is bored, Womens divisions are trash besides Joanna, The Bullet etc.

Shut up you salty bitch Andrade won fair and square Rose made a mistake when she held on to that submission which worked for her in the first slam but Jessica changed the slam and Rose paid for her mistake that is how all the knockouts happen somebody makes a mistake and the other fighter makes him/her pay for it that's just the name of the game don't complain and make excuses

@@jaherra2567 Totally wrong. Rose didn't make a mistake which Andrade made her pay for. Andrade was doing the slam the same way no matter what, she didn't expect Rose to hang onto the kimura and get knocked out like that, it wasn't something Andrade planned she had just planned on slamming her to the floor and follow up with ground and pound, it was lucky on her part. There's nothing wrong with it and it's part of the fight game and nobody can take anything away from Andrade but don't give her props for something she didn't do.
@PandemoniumPirateRadio5 жыл бұрын
@Ja Herra I'm not salty, I enjoy TOP fighters showing their skills. And Rose was beating Andrade. Andrade didn't fight like a Champion at all. It was a lucky move. But as I already said: Luck IS part of the sport. So why are you arguing with me? Nobody asked you 😂 and you agree with that so what's there to argue. You like to see a brainless fighter like Andrade as Champ, I prefer actual skill like Rose 🙄 But if there are any women as skilled as Rose in the division (or Joanna) I think you'll see Andrade not really be able to put up a Champion level performance in her defences. How many times did you see Andrade swing wildly and miss? Almost EVERY punch. And how many times did Rose swing and miss? Barely none! And which is more exciting?

Which is mind blowing to me since she is so young and have great potential. She was touching jessica and fucking her up in only 1 round, i was waiting to see how the damage would look on round 4&5 but Jessica's corner said it in the Countdown, they always aim for a higher/bigger slam

38:10 I am glad Rose is okay. Rose was winning and out striking. No one would have seen a pile drive coming out of straw weight match. At that weight class no one is prepared for that. You live and you learn. There is a lot that I didn’t like leading into this fight. Andrade’s physique and ability to take punishment seem very questionable to me. If she did take steroids and gets caught that’s horrible. Especially using an advantage like that in a female straw weight division. At 115 using performance enhancements can kill someone easily. It makes you endure more punishment, push harder and stronger in the fight. Andrade said herself she was surprised how light rose was. More like how freakishly strong she was. Just my opinion but something stinks about this whole fight. Props to rose for stepping into enemy territory and possible unfair circumstance. #truechampion 🌹
