You need to watch it without sound to notice it. I rewatched it and it is as you say. Izzy was throwing a lot of feints but when he did throw for real, it was usually blocked, checked or evaded. Same with the jabs, Jan was slipping them well. Significant strike wise Jan outlanded Izzy.

“The credit belongs to those who are actually in the arena, who strive valiantly; who know the great enthusiasums, the great devotions, and spend themselves in a worthy cause; who at best know the triumph of high achievement; and who, at worst, if they fail, fail while daring greatly, so that their place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who know neither victory nor defeat.” Theodore Roosevelt Simply put, both warriors did a great job. Excellent game plan from Jan! For Izzy, the experience will be a tremendous asset for the upcoming years in the arena. I wouldn’t expect an easy fight from a man that chose to stand toe to toe with Goliath. Anyway true warriors don’t babysit their undefeated record! Money well spent. Plus, idk if I would have fought a real man that just had his first child... it’s another level of beast mode (I’ve been told).

No shame in losing to Jan, Jan’s a straight killer & Izzy didn’t get dropped submitted or get Ko’d just beaten by a guy with a better game plan he’ll only get even better from here. Everybody keeps saying that but I disagree. Israel is an entertaining fighter, anytime the commentary was in awe of his striking and movement is because he’s a very skilled and entertaining fighter. But they always said Jan was in it the whole fight. Gave him full credit on his power and his take downs which is what won him the fight...like I watched the fight, but if I had closed my eyes and just listened to the commentary it’s not like I’d be in complete shock that Jan won. People are overly critical about these things.

I couldn't be happier to see Jan win after hearing the biased commentary. "Izzy is definitely outlanding Jan" as the significant strike card is on the screen showing the exact opposite. Joe and DC lost alot of respect tonight for not being able to see reality

The most biased commentary ever! It was egregious just how many times that they were dead silent when Jan was Lighting Adesanya up, and were freaking out every time Adesanya threw a jab. Even Dana at the post fight was pissed that the judges scored rounds a 10-8 to Jan! I get they want to make money but it was so clear Jan won it wasn’t even close and they were pissed

I’m so glad that UFC has a different culture than boxing. I I am more of a boxing fan but recently have been watching more UFC because in the UFC you can lose fights and still come back and get great fights. Boxing is so focused on that zero that a lot of times when people lose you just stop seeing them fight good fights anymore.
