That's the fight I'm looking at. I'm a huge fan of Costa's style however I'm really enjoying this side of rockhold we've been seeing. Seems more humble and grounded. No clue how it's gonna go though.

Luke seemed mentally prepared in the Countdown and the first few Embedded episodes but got more agitated by the day, whereas Costa just gets more relaxed. Gonna be a hard fight for Luke.

Luke is a legend. Amazing career. Extraordinary athlete. He’s always been so awkward on camera; contrived, conflicted. That’s amplified now by this raw resentment and intense vulnerability. I feel for the guy and hope he wins, but have a bad feeling about Costa bombing forward and exploiting Rockhold’s susceptibility to a powerful left hand.

Watching the embedded videos it’s clear Luke is talking like this will be his last fight if he loses. He’s got that end of career meta-physical “energy” thing going on. Watched a bunch of his interviews last few weeks and he keeps mentioning he’s 37 and how health is important etc etc. A clear sign is this is a do or die career event for him.

This is a scary Luke Rockhold we are witnessing. The years of work in solitude working on his mentality, physical condition and his chin have made him into a different beast.
