Gilberts showing others how it should be done- the true definition of a fighter. We've seen others avoid fights all the time when they're not convinced they'll win. Burns is the only one out there really taking all comers, irrespective of time frames between fights.

Based on these comments, I think it’s safe to say everybody loves Gilbert. Considering what happened with the Oliviera/dariush fight, the ufc did a really good job of keeping this card awesome on short notice

The card needed this because neither Sterling or Cejudo can get ticket sales or ppv to make this worth it. In fact Burns Belal should be the main event. I never really liked cejudo when he was fighting with all that cringe shit cuz it's like one he beat mighty mouse all of a sudden he was a different person but he still backed it up even though everyone wanted to see him get cracked. Then I saw all the stuff he did on his time off with the other fighters and his family and I'm like he's cool when he's normal lol plus bigger athletes were asking for his advice etc. Now Aljo I don't even know where he came from. I heard the name but never thought he was on this big win streak and being a contender and then all of a sudden he's fighting yan and was losing the fight until the DQ and is the first person to become champ by DQ... Yes they rematched but I still think yan had the win and also Aljo got to study Yan in the first fight to know what to do to so he wouldn't get knocked the F out! Yan isn't a fighter that's gonna change the way he fights against a person he was beating the crap out of in the first fight. I've hit my head harder than that and was still ok. But Aljo was crying about it lol. No shame at all! If he didn't wanna win that way then he should have fought. Now he thinks he's the best bantamweight ever after 2 title defenses. I really hope Henry explodes on him 😂 sterling will never get the belt back if he loses js. The dude said and I quote it's cool being the champ because you get to do stuff other people don't get the chance to. Like wait in lines... Jackass

Burns might just be my favorite fighter right now. I love how he's present and not an asshole to be around, just brings his family with him and is an example of how an athlete should be. Him and Aljo have very good energy this week, it seems like the other guys are trying to be something and those guys are just staying present and being themselves. Not an Aljo fan, but I'm liking him and Gilbert to dominate.
