Pereira had an amateur boxing career ever he went 25-3 with 25 KO’s. The 3 losses were all decisions with questions around them. That the only thing that I’m concerned with is he has had 79 career combat fights amateur and pro 67 wins with 56 KO/TKO’s. He’s going through his 2nd career at 36 so already past his prime. Hill concerned about damage and age but he’s only been KO’d 1 time cold with 2 standing TKO’s and any other losses were decisions. He could get it done bud Jamahal is a very game opponent and a very tough test. Former Champ do this should be interesting ☝️🤔

@@mikemosley2948, Hill has fought mediocre fighters...Hill doesn't have a fight that we can go look back at and say .yeah, he has a chance against Alex. Best fighter Hill has fought was Glover and Glover hit him quite a bit ..Alex is a far superior striker than Glover
@mikemosley2948
@mikemosley2948 Ай бұрын
@@comixof2morrow This is correct 👍 Glover was 43 years old and he hit him with 200 strikes and couldn’t KO him. Hill constantly drops his right throwing the left and even his jab comes back to his waist on the pull back. If Hill has no answer for the leg kicks, which I’ve never seen him check a kick, it will be a short night just like the Jiri fight ☝️🗿

@@JRMagroDon't lie. Thiago only really threw thigh kicks in the 1st round and he wrestled Hill most of the fight. Thiago use to be a welterweight and got KOd with 1 punch by Vicente Luque outside the UFC. Hill can still win but Thiago has the same reach as Usman and Khamzat he's no natural 205er and was 38 years old.

What makes Poatan very dangerous is his time striking at the opponent's gaps: years of experience at a very high level in kickboxing. Hill faced guys who didn't have 50% of Poatan's understanding of distance, defense and attack. So, you can take note: even if Hill wins (the chance is small, but he could eventually win), you will see Hill with a much lower volume of strikes, when compared to his previous fights, exactly because of the tactical stance that Poatan brings to the table. Furthermore, it is simply impossible for Hill to be 100% in physical shape. Maybe 70, 80%. So he will be less fast, less explosive, etc. In previous fights, Hill would sometimes momentarily shift to right base. If he makes this mistake in the fight, he will be kicked in the calf exactly on the newly operated leg. Finally, on a left-handed basis, he also loses boxing explosiveness, since the main leg that helps with this mechanic is also the recently operated one. Due to the combination of Poatan's high striking caliber and Hill's non-ideal physical conditions, everything seems to be converging towards a very tough night for the American.

Solid breakdown, Man UFC 300 is going to be epic! 💯 The card is super stacked from top to bottom. Alex Pereira vs Jamahal Hill is the fight , two of the heaviest hitters In the Light heavyweight division, it will be a hard hitting striking match up, tough to pick the winner. Will come down to who hits the KO shot first. Should be a great main event fight 👏👏👏👏

both probs have trouble w ankleaev. hes got fast hands, ko power, and dragestan grappling. but he looked weird in the jan boring fight. on this one, seems hill is more well-rounded in mma and has less miles on his chin. if hill maintains straight punches off the center, could be effective. clinch is a toss-up. Alex gets hit a lot and looks slow since 2nd mma fight w izzy. X factors are how messed up hill's leg still is, and also how serious is alex taking this fight. not smart to ask to fight back to back. deal w whats in front of u

Its so weird how Hill was champion and hasnt fought anyone in the top 6. I have a feeling Alex is just gonna wipe the guy.

Honestly he won the ultimate contender so I think Dana wanted to make him a star as soon as possible so they give him a quick pass by fighting a 42 year old Glover. I honestly thought hill was gonna knock out Glover.

There was a turn that Jamal took in his fighting.. I underestimated him in his fights but surprised me.. strong power puncher just needs to show a solid defense and stay away from those leg kicks…
