I've always thought that if Brock skipped wwe and went straight into mma training and fighting in the ufc, he would've been one of the greats. Shockingly fast, powerful, brilliant wrestling, just more development on the striking technique and he would've been even more of a monster than he already was

Brock was an amazing athlete that is for sure but he did not like to be hit and it would freeze him up. If you go back Bas Rutten said Brock could be unstoppable but he needed to train to take a few shots. He already had the wrestling skills and the killer instinct he just lacked the ability to weather a storm. But if Brock would have started in MMA with someone like Bas Rutten or Duke Rufus instead of being rich and having his training camp at his house Brock would have been even better. But yea Brock might be considered the greatest heavyweight if he would have started in MMA instead of the path he took. But he will be remembered as one of the biggest stars in MMA history and a very good heavyweight!

@@capcomfan82 I'm talking about like one of the greatest of all time, like Jon Jones or Anderson Silva. He had the potential, but he had potential in many things and chose to pursue that potential in the wwe which is fair enough, he makes lots of money without working a lot nowadays

@@mitchelllynch1129 Yea I'm sure not staying in MMA does NOT keep Brock up at night with that sweet WWE contract money he has. More power to him since he can can make far more money and not risk getting his brains smashed in. Indeed. UFC has been kind of dead for the last 2-3 years in my eyes. Although I watched some alright fights here and there, I have a problem recalling any of them. Very few interested me to the point where I'd actually remember them. Lost passion I guess, but it has something to do with White filling up the roster with bunch of run-of-the-mill local talent through Contender Series and similar shows, as well as introducing UFC Apex series of events in post-covid times. UFC is no longer the same organization I enjoyed 5, 10, or even 15 years ago.

Randy was 220 and Brock cut weight to make the 265 limit so he was probably 273/274. So that short shot that put Randy down was from a 275 pound man the same difference as a a middle weight hitting a bantamweight. Imagine Anderson Silva or Robert Whitaker, or Yoel Romero hitting Dominick Cruz, Peter Yan or Sean O'Mally that is the same size difference as Randy versus Brock.

Randy Couture couldn't prepare properly for this fight. He had only 10 weeks for this training camp after being away for two years from fighting. As you can see, Randy looked soft and not very muscular. Randy was supposed to prepare for this fight by having Shane Carwin as a training partner. Randy wanted to use Shane Carwin to emulate the size and strength of Brock Lesnar. However, shane was not available at that time, so Randy used big John McCarthy instead. Nahh, Joe was wrong on that one. Definitely wasn’t on the temple, more like back of the head/neck. Still, good tko

Hi Dana! Let me go to the heavyweight super series!! I will pass it, remember my fights in Chechnya in a row with an interval of 5 minutes between rivals, here they are: There are four UFS fights in the Chechen Republic (KALEIDESCOPE, NON-BREAK IN A RING): 1. Emmanuel is the champion of this tournament 2. George St. Pierre 3. Fabrizio Werdum 4. Mark Hunt And here in the super series, I will have a whole month to rest! Give me a super series!! And I ask you to transfer the fee. Thanks.

If it wasn’t for his dumb WWE career that eventually caused him a trauma that finished his fighting career, he would have been one of GOATS easily! He really had a methodical approach to fights, which shows his high fight IQ…
