Notice how malley passed up plenty of better fighters for an old blemish with a guy who wasnt even ready for a title fight. Now we see malley not only got whooped, but kissed cause he was that horrible he couldn't do anything against merab but run away and throw kicks for safe striking and still got taken down.

Imo, he was never champ material, yeah he was a good one trick striking pony that had a couple good knock outs, but never champ material. The UFC push him up there to try and make a star. He couldn't finish a washed Chito. A lot of Sean's knockout highlights are him just throwing at dudes with their hands down and getting a KO. Any hate O'Malley gets is justified and he's asked for IMO. asking if he'll accept returns on his undefeated merch isn't exactly hating on him either...

I ended up getting tickets for 60% off during fight day. They didn’t sell out at all. Financially this wasn’t a success for them.

@@Wolfe-xz6trit was clear with less than a week left that over half the tickets were still unsold. Originally the cheapest tickets were ~$3,000 a piece, and I know I saw them selling on ticket websites for less than $700 before last night. This may have been profitable with merch sales/PPVs, but there’s no way they’re happy with ticket sales for this event.

This fact isn’t up for debate. And I never made a comment on Dana’s personal wealth being affected by this. He doesn’t even have any shares in the UFC anymore, and hasn’t since 2016 when Zuffa sold their majority stake of the UFC to WME-IMG. He has no claim to any direct profits made by an event. No idea why you brought that statement up, just more nonsense from you.

Herb "let's work" Dean is so annoying. He says "let's work" more times in any one round that involves one minute of grappling more than the other referees during the whole night combined. "Best in the business" (according to Rogan) my ass, maybe a decade ago, but in the 2020s, he's the worst ref in the UFC.

I watched the fight from Valentina and she dominated Alexa all the rounds crazy. Alexa had no chance, she tried to make armbar and 2-3 chokes at the beginning but at the end she couldnt it and lose.. valentina showed extremly good performance.

You set your pay structure and if the best in the world apply and accept that pay structure, then it means you are either paying the right amount or too much. UFC has the best fighter so do the math.

To be fair they probably broke even or made 10% profit the sphere probably cost more than the projected 25 million it was probably close to $35 or $50 million just in production work not including the night of production and broadcasting cost i mean yes the fighters deserve more pay but holding an event like this is not every profitable from a revenue standpoint

Anyone who's watched UFC seriously always knew Sean OMalley was a gimmick that would never work for long. I mean I like him and hope he can continue to evolve and come back. The Shevchenko fight was amazing as well. When O'Malley started his walk and he hit that arena.. you can see it in his face that it was very overwhelming. When he got to the cage it looked like he tried to embrace it and closed his eyes rather quickly. I think the pressure got to him. (Merabs pressure haha)
