that was a great fight night, i noticed that the crowd for the ufc fight night was bigger than any other ufc fight night ive seen, not to big but at the same time not to small. it was good size for the fight night. they should have a ufc fight night at the cow palace in san fransisco. its like about the same size as the kfc yumm center. im pretty sure there alot ufc fans here in the bay

EPIC STAIR WALK

I was lucky enough to sit behind Dana at UFC 127. Some of you may remember the kid who begged for tickets on Bondi Beach in the pre-fight vlog. Well Dana brings him cageside to sign a bunch of programs and spends time chatting with him and taking photos. Security and officials are gesturing that they could take him away, but the kid is SO excited Dana waves the officials off and lets him stay. Kid pulls up a chair and watches the main event next to the president of the UFC. Big respect for Dana!

Dana gave Diego and Martin an extra 100k each for the fight, on top of the fight of the night bonus, which was 60k. The reason for the extra money was because of the "thrilling nature of the bout." Pretty cool of Dana to do so.

@death483 Kampmann also landed about 20 counter punches in that 3rd round while Diego flailed wildy but hardly touched him in the third.

@Ameerz14 the first round kampmann, 2 & 3 go to sanchez for putting the pressure and 1 takedown, just like the MACHIDA vs RAMPAGE fight, Rampage thought that Machida was gonna get the decision win, but no RAMPAGE won by AGGRESSION and MOVING FORWARD. the elusive style of machida is good when you finish the fight K.O. or SUBMISSION (Evans, Thiago, Rich Franklin( japan) Dimitri Wanderley) . but when you LEAVE it in the hands of the judges, that elusive style isn't so effective.

@death483 I Agree with 100%, kampmann definitely the better fighter but he didnt capitalize on finishing he stopped all but one takedown, thats amazing for anyone. Diego won by heart and will thats that.

@frayner06 I am a big Sanchez fan But I was surprised at how many punches he took from Martin, I have not seen Diego get hit like that. I think Martin is a lot better than people give him credit for. the next fight will show how sanchez fights back at Camp Jackson and if he really has returned to his roots.

@logpaul7 I didn't go as the card seemed pretty shitty but there were some damn good fights going on . And man Dieago got messed up lol . People say that Kosh got messed by GSP , take a good look at " the dream lol " . Yeah IF they come back which i'm not holding my breath to on that , i'll go next time if it's a ppv and some bigger names .
