Not for people with good cardio , grappling will drain your body more , if you run 5 or 6 miles a day you won't fatigue unless your grappling .

I didn't know who either of these guys were and I am less than a casual watcher of combat sports, and I found this to be a very exciting fight. I was on the edge of my seat (figuratively speaking) the entire time. Sure, a knockout would have been fun to see, but the performance from both men was very impressive, and I'm never upset about someone not getting seriously hurt. Thompson is in his 40s, his mind is still sharp, he hasn't taken any serious damage and he's able to to compete with guys in their 20s. If he's in this good of shape when he retires - to have made it through an entire career of fighting the best fighters in the world and come out clean - that's the biggest W, in my opinion.

Having never seen either of these fighters, I don't understand all the criticism. Missing weight is shitty, but the fight was not. They are both strikers and rightfully respected the threat from their opponent. It was a very even match-up and, although it was certainly disappointing for Thompson to take the loss, I have to imagine he enjoyed himself. He loves to test himself and he was certainly tested in this one. They both were, which is what makes it come across as "boring" to so many people

@@STRmw2 In what way was he unsportsmanlike? They shook hands, smiled at each other hugged, Till quieted the crowd when they booed Thompson for the eye-poke. Not having seen him before, I can't say whether he has behaved differently in other fights, but I thought they both seemed respectful of their opponent.

Wonderboy is one of the most patient counter strikers I have ever seen, which ironically plays a lot into his detriment of his losses. He waits so much on the outside hoping for you to blits in recklessly but if you are also a patient punter striker like Till it comes down to who’s will to engage first or take a chance and usually that’s not gonna be wonderboy.

The "hands down-bounce" of Stephens seemingly aids the visualization of him being both "loose" and "ready to go" something of impressively and steadily throughout.... He remained so patient timing while he was up against pressure that you couldn't count out throughout the fight too....
