Rousey was nothing more than a 🪴 meant to bring the women's side a lot of attention. It worked, UFC built a bigger brand, & told Holly, "Do what you do." Which is be a much better striker than Rousey can dream of being.

She got more press, more interviews, more magazines, etc. than any other fighter before her. She was EVERYWHERE in media & UFC became a much bigger brand thanks to Rhonda... but she was not a good fighter. She was a decent grappler, but think what Nuñes is in comparison... like comparing Faber to Johnson - leagues apart in skill... Point is, Dana and Co. found a woman who could make UFC bigger and the allowed her to win until they were satisfied.

Watching no knees Shogun in the UFC was so painful after knowing what he was capable of when he was actually healthy and had a good camp. If the Shogun that faced Machida had stepped in the cage with Hendo Dan would have gotten worked, and I love Henderson.

Conor vs Alvarez was showcase of prime McGregor - timing, precision, speed, focus. If he just stayed that way, he could go on a tear and become the best lightweight ever. I feel like fight with Floyd ruined him in term of too much money and lack of focus, too bad, now we will never know.

The inside thigh to right combo that dropped Shogun Rua at 12:14 beating him down to him recovering heel hook attempt to cage pressure and dropping Hendo. Got dayum this fight was sooooo good. I watched the Chandler v Alvarez fight, it was on the same night as Shogun v Henderson. I thought I'd seen fight of the year with the first, then got to see this. I still rate the Chandler v Alvarez 1 as the better fight, but only by a hair.
