Stipe is the real heavyweight goat, the only one in the entire division to defend his belt 4 times and his titles were always being an underdog and overcoming adversity.He shocked the world by beating Werdum in Brazil, he reinvented himself in the second fight with Cormier, he was also considered an underdog in the first fight with Ngannou and played with him, he beat JDS in the rematch very quickly, Not counting the other victories (arlovski, Roy Nelson, Gonzaga, Hunt, Overeem)

Stipe Miočić is the best UFC heavyweight champion of all time. He was not so popular in UFC becouse he did not care for showboatimg, he only cared for the SPORT of MMA. People will remember his name for a long, long time becouse he was not an "act" like other champs, he was a normal ordinary man (and these days -it's a rarity-) who accomplished his dream; to be a heavweight GOAT champion ! You just look his wins (and opponents!) and his records. We will remeber him !!! 👊

Jones waited out his best to make sure Stipe is as rusty as possible for him to graciously add Stipe Miocic name to his record. Stipe should've pulled out and let Aspinall fight.

He waited out Ngannou. He was injured for the Stipe thing... even though Stipe was already old. Jones shouldve been stripped if anything. Stipe shouldnt lose money. If they really wanted to fight, fine. But not for the title. Waiting out the interim champion who is defending an interim title and being the backup fighter for the champion is crazy work going on with Aspinall.

Don't forget that DC eye poked Stipe numerous times, so badly, he had to undergo eye surgery just to see again. We should've gotten Stipe Francis 3 in a regular sized octagon. Instead, they chose to reward a cheater with another title shot

Randy Cotoure is the Heavyweight Goat of the UFC. Coleman, Gonzaga, Sylvia, Rizzo x2, Randlema, Smith... The UFC erased Randy from the company, the same way they erased Francis existence from the company. Fedor is the greatest MMA heavyweight of all time, Randy Cotoure is the greatest UFC heavyweight of all time.

He didn't beat Coleman at HW (and that was a shell of Mark). Randy is 7-4 at heavyweight in the UFC... and one of those wins is James Toney. Sorry but his resume doesn't compare to Stipe's if we are strictly talking about heavyweight, Francis, DC 2x, JDS, Werdum, Overeem, Hunt. Randy gets credit for having a strong legacy at LHW too but he is not the HW GOAT.

@ Those past prime versions of DC, Hunt and Overeem are still WAY better than literally anyone Randy beat at HW, so are JDS and Francis. Randy 7-4, Stipe 14-5 with way stronger competition. Agreed with Fedor being HW GOAT, Randy is not in the discussion though (frankly he's not even top 3 on the UFC's HW GOAT list).

@@HairyBrown11Also Stipe was fortunate, his 1st wrestler he faced was 39 year old DC who knocked him out. He beat DC when he was 40 and 41 and coming off back surgery. Jones really showed him how wrestlers do it. DC even flipped him over his head in all 3 fights
