Nick only lost to gsp at welterweight after hitting his prime , he arguably won against condit and beat so many legends --- bj penn ( double champ hall of famer) , robbie lawler ( champ hall of Hamer) , Frank shamrock ( ufc first light heavyweight champ ) , paul daley ( greatest 1 round ko artist that time ) , takeromi gomi ( pfp no.1 pride lightweight champ that time ) , cyborg , kj noons . Nick has almost beat 7-8 former champs . gsp vs nick was also highest sold ppv of goat gsp's career .

Nick could have and probably should have fought at 155. He walked around in the low 180’s back then. I know he fought at 160 at one point. Just feel like he got out sized by a lot of guys he fought at 170.

Not even close, GSP was posturing up and actually landing significant strikes causing damage. And I’m not even one of the people criticizing Khamzat. Also, Nick was competitive on the ground. DDP has nothing.

Every round, and Joe only noticed it and said "Whoa!!" After the 3rd or 4th.... I lost count. Literally every time the bell rung, they split, and _then_ Diaz tries striking him 🙄 blatant as hell 😅

4:16 this is the difference from Chimaev GPS put him to the ground and try to finish him . Yes , it espose himself and the domination could go "wrong" but it's better than keeping opponent down doing little damage for all 25 minutes

Chimaev did try, but all ddp did was defend the submission. He was there to not get submitted but he was fine with getting ragdolled so blame ddp for that.

It’s heartbreaking to know that it was around this time that Nicks career started going downhill. Stayed many years of his prime out of competition. The fact of never knowing what Nick could’ve actually done and been in the UFC is so frustrating.
