There isn’t a legit reason to dislike him apart from the fact he’s affiliated with Khabib and Conor’s now defunct fan base can’t let go of the fact their idol’s career got ruined by Khabib. Islam himself is hilarious, has exciting fights and doesn’t duck anyone. There is legit no reason to hate him apart from the fact he’s a Muslim Russian which many people can’t stand so their prejudice manifests itself in propaganda like “he’s boring” which is hilariously wrong. Same people who rooted for Covington and Strickland who can put a funeral home to sleep btw.

- Submits Charles who was on a roll 11 fight win streak - Beats Volks who was undefeated and 12 fight win streak rematch KO - Defends title 4 times, more than anyone in history - on a 15 fight win streak himself only behind silva - lost only 2 or 3 rounds ever in UFC what has been otherwise a dominate career - more than 70% finish rate, he has been finishing opponents more often. - he’s not done yet.. next win will tie record with silva and he will get that second belt too, there’s 0 doubt
